This collection takes the push-up from “one movement” and turns it into a full menu of problems to solve: changing hand spacing, shifting body angle, altering tempo, and sprinkling in brief, high-focus rep clusters so your upper body has to keep adapting instead of settling into autopilot. The posters lean on clear, repeatable structures (levels, sets, rest rules, and often an Extra Credit layer) so you can treat the work like practice rather than a one-off burn, and the variety is the point, you’re training the same fundamental press pattern from multiple angles to build strength that holds up in different positions. It’s also not “arms only” training; done well, push-ups force your trunk and legs to lock in as a single unit, which is why DAREBEE frames them as a whole-body builder that develops control and functional strength as you accumulate volume.

The payoff is dense, practical upper-body strength plus the kind of bracing that makes everything else feel more stable. Push-ups load your chest and arm extensors heavily, but they also ask for shoulder-girdle organization, ribcage control, and steady alignment through the midsection and lower body, which is why improvements often show up as cleaner posture and better “stay tight while moving” capacity, not just more reps. Because several workouts use lots of small rep bursts and frequent variation, you’re also training coordination under fatigue, the ability to keep form crisp when your breathing climbs, and the mental skill of resetting technique fast between efforts. Progress is straightforward and satisfying: move up the level structure, keep rests honest, and treat quality as the limiter you’re trying to raise, because the strongest version of a push-up is the one that stays consistent from the first rep to the last.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
