60 Days of HIIT by DAREBEE
SETS

Day 43 puts the punch chain in front of the doubled kick. Four 15-second intervals - jab, cross and double side kicks on the right leg, double side kicks on the right, then the same pair on the left - three to seven sets, one minute of rest. The x2 marker sits beside the kick illustration, as it has since Day 19.

This is the longest string the program has asked for so far: two punches followed by two kicks from the same leg without the foot touching down. Four strikes in one cycle, and the whole thing has to flow. The punches build the rotation, the first kick spends it, and the second kick has to be generated from a standing position that is already leaning away and already tired. Following that with an interval of doubles alone removes the punches and leaves you with nothing but the hardest part.

Throw the punches sharp and short so you arrive at the kick with your balance intact rather than overcommitted. Chamber high, extend to the side, pull the foot back to the chamber and fire again. Guard up, standing foot pivoting, torso angled but controlled.

Four strikes, one cycle, one foot in the air for half of it - the chain is getting long.

Make it Harder: Add a return jab after the second kick so every cycle opens and closes with your hands.

Make it Easier: Run the combination as jab, cross and a single side kick, and keep the doubles for the second interval only.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
