The final card of ZEN is a sit, which is exactly as it should be. Twenty minutes, your seat, your breath, and no new instructions - because after fifteen sessions you do not need any. You have anchored on the breath, the exhale, the body, sound and open space; you have sat through restlessness, wandering, stillness and plain; you have doubled your duration without ever being asked twice. Today you simply practice.
Run the session however serves you best - that judgment is itself what the month built. The only suggestion is to spend a minute somewhere inside it acknowledging the shape of what you now own: a complete, portable practice that needs no equipment, no schedule and no permission, sized to fit inside any day you will ever have. Thirty days ago, ten minutes of sitting still was a genuine challenge. Today it is the warm-up to your twenty.
When the timer sounds, open your eyes slowly and take the stillness with you rather than snapping out of it. And decide, before you stand up, when your next sit will be - a practice survives on the next appointment, not the last achievement.
Thirty days end the way they began, in stillness - except now the stillness is yours to keep.
Make it Harder: Retire the timer entirely and sit until the session ends itself.
Make it Easier: Make the final sit fifteen familiar minutes - finishing well beats finishing long.
