Day 25 doubles the side leg raises. The circuit is 20 side leg raises, 10 step jacks, 20 side leg raises and 10 side jacks, then 2 minutes of rest, then repeat for your level. Two blocks of the same raise, each followed by a short cardio move - and with no change-legs line on the card, each block of 20 alternates legs for 20 in total.
Side leg raises: straight leg out to the side, toes forward, hands loosely in front, alternating legs for 20. Step jacks: out and reach, back and alternate, 10 in total. Side leg raises again. Side jacks: wide stance, lean and reach, 10 in total. Raise, step, raise, lean. Forty raises per set puts the outer hips under more work than any earlier day, and the two cardio moves make sure the standing leg never gets to fully relax between blocks.
Alternating legs, keep the transitions smooth and the torso still - the height of the leg matters far less than the quality of the balance shift. Ten step jacks and ten side jacks are short, so make them full: wide steps, full reach, long lean. If the second block of raises feels heavier than the first, that is the design.
Forty side leg raises per set - the outer hips get their biggest day of the month.
Make it Harder: Do each block of raises on a single leg - the first block on the right, the second on the left.
Make it Easier: Cut each block of raises to 12 and keep the jacks as written.
