90 Days of Action by DAREBEE

Day 88 is the last abs day: 8 knee-to-elbow, 14 high crunches, 14 leg raises, a 10-count hold with the legs raised and 14 circles. Five in order is one set, up to 2 minutes rest, 3, 5 or 7 sets by level. The knee-to-elbow here is a seated version.

Seated knee-to-elbow leans back with the hands behind the head and the feet lifted, then brings one knee up while the opposite elbow comes across to meet it, alternating, 8 total, 4 per side. High crunches lift the shoulders toward raised, bent legs, 14 times. Leg raises lift both straight legs to vertical and lower, 14 times, then the hold keeps them hovering at about knee height for a 10-count, then 14 circles, 7 each way, with the legs still up. Forty-two reps and a hold with the legs never resting is the last thing the abs are asked for on the circuit cards.

Sit tall in the knee-to-elbow and twist from the trunk. High crunches lifting the shoulder blades, not the chin. Leg raises slow on the way down and stopped before the heels touch. Hold with the lower back pressed into the floor. Circles small and steady in both directions.

The last abs card lifts the legs and does not put them down until the circles are finished.

Make it Harder: Add a second 10-count hold after the circles with the legs still up.

Make it Easier: Soften the knees through the leg raises, the hold and the circles, and cut the circles to 8.
