Day 10 introduces the plank days: 20 seconds of high knees, 10 seconds of plank hold, alternating four times per set, at 3, 5 or 7 sets with 2 minutes between. Half of this workout is furious motion. The other half is refusing to move at all.

That contrast is the entire design. Sprinting spikes the heart rate; the plank then demands total stillness on top of that spike - a straight-armed hold, drawn high on the hands, where the challenge is not the position but the composure. Breathing hard and holding steady are usually opposite skills. This card trains them as one, ten seconds at a time, and those ten seconds get longer every time the high knees get faster.

Give the high knees everything - they buy their own rest. Then take the plank seriously as a position: hands under the shoulders, arms locked, one clean line from head to heels, no sag and no pike, breathing loud and staying put. The plank is not a break. It is the second exercise.

Twenty seconds of chaos, ten of stillness - Day 10 grades you on how quickly you can find your composure.

Make it Harder: Hold every plank with your feet together.

Make it Easier: Take the planks from your knees.

I really like this website. It doesn't make me overthink what to workout. I would just do one or two of these workouts, walk for 45 minutes and stretch. It makes me feel good.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
