Day 29 is the last note-the-distance run in the program. Thirty minutes, run or jog, record the number. Day 31 will chase it.
This is the baseline for the final star, so it carries some weight. Look back at the seven plain runs before it and the seven stars. If the stars have all beaten their targets, you have been improving for a month and this run should reflect that - not by forcing anything, but by running at what now feels normal and seeing how far that goes. Your normal has moved. Today is the run that shows you how much.
Run it like a rehearsal for Day 31: the same route you intend to use, the same warm-up, the same way of measuring. Eyes up, cadence quick, arms driving, breath in rhythm. Record the distance and set it beside Day 1's - the two numbers are the story of the program.
The final baseline, and a normal run that no longer looks like the one you started with.
Make it Harder: Aim to beat Day 27's starred distance today, even though the card does not ask you to.
Make it Easier: Keep the run indoors or on a track where the pace is easy to control, and hold it deliberately gentle.
