DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Lowerbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

I Love Squats is exactly what it says on the poster - a love letter written entirely in one movement pattern. Squat step backs, goblet squats three times over, squat front kicks and squat hold calf raises: six blocks, four reps each, every single one a different way of saying the same thing to your quads and glutes.

The low rep counts are the romantic gesture here, and they are more calculating than they look. Four reps per block means every squat gets full attention - no rushing, no form decay - while six consecutive blocks mean your legs never actually leave the pattern. The variations rotate the demand: squat step backs add a balance element as one leg sweeps behind from the bottom position, goblet squats groove the deep, upright classic that anchors the whole session, and squat front kicks ask you to rise from full depth straight into a kick - power and balance in one continuous motion. The squat hold calf raises near the end are the plot twist, loading your calves while your quads hold everything at depth. Then two more blocks of goblet squats, because love means repetition.

Sink to full depth in every goblet squat with your chest tall and elbows inside your knees. Control the step backs - the sweep behind should not pull you off balance, so keep your weight planted through the standing leg. On the front kicks, stand fully out of the squat before kicking; blending the two halves cheats both. During the calf raises, keep your hips locked at depth no matter how persuasively they argue for rising.

Twenty-four squats per set, six different ways. That is not a workout - that is commitment.

Make it Harder: Add a pause at the bottom of every squat variation.

Make it Easier: Reduce the depth on the goblet squats and hold a chair for the front kicks.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

Yes, the workouts are awesome and I like them very much. They are easy to understand and don't require much knowledge so you can simply start working out. BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
