Good Morning Legs is a DAREBEE home fitness no-equipment lower body strength workout that delivers lower body strength and power.
DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Lowerbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Good Morning Legs is a mini workout that greets your lower body with one hundred and twenty reps before the day gets a say in the matter. Goblet squats, squat hold calf raises, side leg raises and side lunges - four exercises, thirty reps each, no equipment, no sets to count, just one straight run through everything your legs will need today.

The sequence pairs two squat-pattern blocks with two lateral ones, and the order does quiet, sensible work. Thirty goblet squats wake up the quads and glutes through a full, upright range - the movement pattern of every chair, stair and pickup the day holds in store. The squat hold calf raises that follow keep the legs at depth while the calves lift and lower, stacking a moving contraction on a held one. Then the workout turns sideways: side leg raises fire the hip abductors that keep your pelvis level with every step you take, and side lunges finish by pushing the hips through the lateral range most mornings never visit. Thirty is an honest number - low enough to survive before breakfast, high enough that your legs notice.

Sink to full depth on the goblet squats with your chest tall and elbows inside your knees. During the calf raises, keep your hips pinned low - rising a little with every rep is the classic escape and the whole exercise is refusing it. Lift the side leg raises from the hip without leaning away, and push your hips back in the side lunges, keeping the trailing leg long and your heels planted.

One hundred and twenty reps before coffee finishes brewing. Good morning, legs. You are welcome.

Make it Harder: Add a pause at the bottom of every squat and lunge.

Make it Easier: Split each block of thirty into three tens through the day.

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!

After more than a decade, and after trying countless websites and apps, it's still my number one choice for workout plans and creative exercise inspiration. Unlike other apps and sites, the full experience is available regardless of ability to pay; even when the job market has been tough, Darebee has been there with accessible, effective workouts to help keep me on track when other obstacles crop up. Whether it's a full workout, or a little challenge to supplement other routines, Darebee has ALWAYS had me covered. The wide variety of skill levels available means that I can find something, even if injured, tired, or simply out of practice. Need to work on something specific? Pick a challenge for it. Injured? Rehab workouts and exercise alternatives abound. Not sure how to use all those dumbbells you somehow acquired over the years? No problem--you can find workouts with that equipment. In conclusion: Darebee is pretty rad; an awesome, effective resource, that anybody who needs a bit of sweat and strength in their lives can appreciate. Thanks to the Darebee team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment!
