DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Verity is a plank workout with nowhere to hide. Seven stations, all of them performed from the same straight-arm plank: shoulder taps three times over, two 10-count holds, plank leg raises and slow climbers. It is a truth-teller of a workout - by the end, you will know exactly how strong your core actually is, as opposed to how strong you assumed it was.

The structure works by removing support without ever letting you leave the position. A plank on two hands and two feet is stable. Lift one hand for a shoulder tap, or one leg for a leg raise, and your core must instantly fight the rotation that follows. The workout alternates these instability drills with pure holds, so your trunk swings between resisting movement and resisting time. Slow climbers arrive late in the sequence, adding hip flexion when your shoulders are at their most tired, and the final hold is the honest summary of everything that came before it.

The plank standard never changes: shoulders stacked over wrists, glutes tight, one straight line from head to heels. During shoulder taps, imagine a full glass of water on your lower back - the goal is to touch your shoulder without spilling it. On leg raises, lift from the glute without twisting your pelvis. Slow means genuinely slow on the climbers: two seconds per knee, minimum.

Verity means truth. Your core is about to tell it.

Make it Harder: Perform the entire sequence without letting your knees touch the floor between stations.

Make it Easier: Do the shoulder taps and holds from an incline with hands on a sturdy chair.

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!

After more than a decade, and after trying countless websites and apps, it's still my number one choice for workout plans and creative exercise inspiration. Unlike other apps and sites, the full experience is available regardless of ability to pay; even when the job market has been tough, Darebee has been there with accessible, effective workouts to help keep me on track when other obstacles crop up. Whether it's a full workout, or a little challenge to supplement other routines, Darebee has ALWAYS had me covered. The wide variety of skill levels available means that I can find something, even if injured, tired, or simply out of practice. Need to work on something specific? Pick a challenge for it. Injured? Rehab workouts and exercise alternatives abound. Not sure how to use all those dumbbells you somehow acquired over the years? No problem--you can find workouts with that equipment. In conclusion: Darebee is pretty rad; an awesome, effective resource, that anybody who needs a bit of sweat and strength in their lives can appreciate. Thanks to the Darebee team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment!
