DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Fae Princess is a lower body and balance workout that trades brute force for grace - and then makes you earn the grace. Curtsy lunges, knee-to-elbows, side leg raises, high squats, archers and balance swings, twelve reps each, flow together into a session that trains elegance the hard way: through control on one leg at a time.

Almost every exercise here challenges balance alongside strength, which is the theme holding the court together. Curtsy lunges cross one leg behind the other, loading the glutes at an angle that demands stability. Knee-to-elbows and side leg raises both reduce you to a single supporting leg while the other moves. High squats restore symmetry briefly - reaching tall overhead before sinking down - and then archers and balance swings take it away again, shifting your weight side to side and swinging one leg free while the standing leg's ankle, knee and hip make hundreds of tiny corrections. Those corrections are the actual training: fae grace is just stabilizer strength wearing a crown.

Keep your front knee tracking over your foot in the curtsy lunge even as your back leg sweeps diagonally behind. On every single-leg movement, fix your eyes on a point ahead - a wandering gaze is a wandering balance. Make the balance swings slow and deliberate rather than letting momentum swing the leg for you.

Light on your feet, steady on one leg, untouchable on both. The fae would approve.

Make it Harder: Perform every single-leg exercise without letting your free foot touch the ground mid-set.

Make it Easier: Rest your fingertips on a wall during the balance swings and leg raises.

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!

After more than a decade, and after trying countless websites and apps, it's still my number one choice for workout plans and creative exercise inspiration. Unlike other apps and sites, the full experience is available regardless of ability to pay; even when the job market has been tough, Darebee has been there with accessible, effective workouts to help keep me on track when other obstacles crop up. Whether it's a full workout, or a little challenge to supplement other routines, Darebee has ALWAYS had me covered. The wide variety of skill levels available means that I can find something, even if injured, tired, or simply out of practice. Need to work on something specific? Pick a challenge for it. Injured? Rehab workouts and exercise alternatives abound. Not sure how to use all those dumbbells you somehow acquired over the years? No problem--you can find workouts with that equipment. In conclusion: Darebee is pretty rad; an awesome, effective resource, that anybody who needs a bit of sweat and strength in their lives can appreciate. Thanks to the Darebee team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment!
