DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Bad Wolf is a full-body workout that keeps turning up where you least expect it - much like the two words it is named after, scattered across time and space through an entire season of Doctor Who. Lunges and twists open the session standing, then everything drops to the floor: shoulder taps, plank leg raises and slow climbers, all performed from a plank that refuses to end.

The structure front-loads the big, dynamic movements and then descends into sustained tension. Lunges work each leg through a full range while twists wake up the rotational core. Then the plank sequence begins, and it is really one long shoulder and core hold disguised as three exercises. Shoulder taps force anti-rotation - your trunk fighting to stay square as each hand lifts. Plank leg raises shift the challenge to the glutes and lower back. Slow climbers finish it, driving the knees forward deliberately enough that your hip flexors and abs have nowhere to hide.

Keep your front knee stacked over your foot in the lunge and push back up through the heel. In every plank variation, the rule is the same: hips level, spine long, no swaying side to side during taps and no piking during climbers. Slow means slow - a two-second drive per knee, minimum.

The message was a warning scattered through time. Yours is simpler: the plank always comes back.

Make it Harder: Perform the entire plank sequence without dropping your knees between exercises.

Make it Easier: Do the shoulder taps and climbers from an incline plank with hands on a sturdy chair.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

Yes, the workouts are awesome and I like them very much. They are easy to understand and don't require much knowledge so you can simply start working out. BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
