Amazon is a compact warrior circuit built to hit fast and hard. Explosive lower-body moves - jump squats, jumping lunges and hop heel clicks - train power, agility and strong landings, the kind you want if you imagine sprinting into battle or just up a flight of stairs without thinking about it. Push-ups and close grip push-ups bring in upper-body strength for chest, shoulders and triceps, while the punching combo sharpens coordination and gives you a chance to channel a bit of fight into every round. This is not about looking tough; it’s about feeling capable in your own body, set after set.

The plank and side plank holds at the end of each sequence are your armour: they reinforce core stability so everything else you do feels sharper and more controlled. Use Amazon as a standalone strength-and-power session or as a finisher on days when your inner combatant is wide awake. Start at the level that lets you keep good form - soft landings, full push-up range, crisp punches - and then climb when you’re ready. The low rep counts trick you into starting; the cumulative sets turn it into serious conditioning and confidence training.
