Lettuce, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar will make a quick and tasty salad on their own. If you add mozzarella and pine nuts, it’ll be just like the frosting on the cake. You know, for when you feel like Christmas and you can spend a little extra. It looks impressive and it tastes good but the basics are still lettuce, tomato and balsamic vinegar. The rest of the ingredients are optional.

bag of lettuce
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
small pack of mozzarella (optional)
handful of pine nuts (optional)
1 Slice mozzarella and tomatoes.
2 Add lettuce to a plate or a bowl.
3 Add tomato and mozzarella slices.
4 Sprinkle it with balsamic vinegar and with pine nuts, season and serve.
