½ (50g) cup flour
4 tablespoons (30g) ground flaxseeds
½ cup water or beetroot juice
1Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until combined.
2Split into 2 portions, transfer to a baking tray lined with baking paper and shape into steaks with a spoon.
3Bake in the oven at 392°F (200°C) for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
- Beetroot juice is used primarily for color so if you don’t have it, just use water.
- Psyllium powder is not necessary for the recipe but it will level up your fiber game and make the steaks come out fluffier.
