    Bad day. HIGH anxiety day. I'm 90% sure that this chest/neck pain is a pulled muscle, but that 10% is screaming "OMG OMG I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK I'M GONNA DIE!"

    The fact that anxiety attacks often feel like heart attacks is not helping.

    I'm doing my deep breathing exercises and trying to counter the "OMG OMG" voice with rational thinking and distractions, but it just keeps yelling, if that makes sense, every time the pain spikes. It's like, I get a minute or two of calm and then I reach forward for something and it makes my chest hurt - and then I have to calm myself down again...and again...and again...

    So yeah. I'm frustrated and tired and anxious. Bad day.

    Super crabby today. Did not sleep well, but got up anyway to hit up the grocery store right away cuz the husband's working from home and out of coffee. Then he helped me make a ginormous delicious keto omelette before I crashed back into bed. Woke up at noon, still felt like I could have passed out again but I didn't want to sleep all day... Finished grocery shopping.
    My yoga mat's on the floor but I can't motivate myself to start...
    Even having a passionate conversation/debate with my husband completely drains me.
    Just not a good day, I guess.

    CODawn - oh that will be fun to look forward to! (Hopefully I don’t have to worry about any of that for awhile longer!) hopefully your symptoms get better! Thank you for the tips/ideas! I hunkered down under my weighted blanket and just tried to sleep!

    fatgirlonamission, I started get them a few years ago (perimenopause for sure). One lasted 5 days (including nights). I don't get them so much anymore (now I have the hot\cold flashes...oh joy!). Some people use cold packs, I found putting heat on the back of neck is at least relaxing.
