Congrats, AceofSwords be aware, that from 1 to 2 reps, you are doubling your number.
    That may take some time.

HellYeah80 Thanks! Good to keep in mind! I've been making good progress and just being able to do one good one per set makes my heart sing. I will get that second true rep eventually with hard work and practice.

As it is, I have three more reps to add to my total: 11/2019

        And continuing the quest.

Hey folks, you are doing great. I'd like to join as soon as my elbows are good again. They are a bit in pain, not bad, but not good either. I'll do some forearm strengthening using a hammer and will deadhang in february, I think.

As a side note: I haven't progressed much with my max rep number lately, but I do notice I can do more sets of a higher number of reps.

                    Ie. In the beginning it was like: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1

                    Then I slowly climbed up to 3, 2, 3, 2, 2, 4, 2, 2, 1

                    And then to: 3, 2, 3, 3, 5, 2, 2, 2, 1

                    etc.

Lately I can see that I can do more frequently things like: 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5 (that was my today's session for example), where the higher rep number is the norm, if you know what I mean?

                    Happy about it!

Over the last few days I got in a bunch of pull-ups, including TWO!!!! shallow second reps yesterday at the gym! No class, but a couple classmates were there and we powerlifted like we did in class. These still count as fractions and fractions get dropped. 19/2019

I’m still plugging along doing the Negative Pull-ups challenge and the Dead Hang Challenge. Still dropping like a (slower) Rock with the negs....Working the scaps with weighted back and arm workouts and scap pulls; found the DayBreak workout for the lats. I’m sure I’ll get there, it’s just slow. But, hey. I’m now doing 2 reps of full on proper pushups when they are included in workouts. So, I know I’m improving!!!
