Oh I'm sorry twinkletoes it seems my post wasn't very clear. It wasn't a second attack, it was the same. It was to add the story and correct my first post because I had done the math wrong the first time and said I killed 2 kobolds but the damage from my workout was actually 4.5, so I added 2 more dead kobolds and one wounded to my storyline.
      Thank you for the spreadsheet!

My bad. In that case the kobolds were killed just fine. Spreadsheet might still come in handy ... or not

After almost 10 clicks I stop around 500 metres away from the Outpost and take a first look from the distance. Nothing odd, but none of my companions seems to be already here and there is also no signs of ravens, At least I cannot spot one from where I stand.
So I will wait where I am. Sitting down near a tree with my back against the trunk, I blend into the environment, watching and waiting..

I collect my gold coins and head to the watch's outpost.
            (200 high knees)
As I arrive I carefully observe the place, nothing seems suspicious but I keep a low profile... None of my mates come into view... I spot BatOutOfHell and I join him where he's hidden, I whisper "Hey. Everything's alright?"

Well spotted Katia you either have a keen eye to find me without a problem or maybe my hiding skills need to be developped or maybe both.

I do not see any sign of danger, but let's wait for a bit more here, would be myI suggestion.

I feel the electric buzz of magic coursing through my veins. There's nothing like a battle to get my juices flowing, and the attack from the goblin hunting party was a nice little warm-up. The impish devilkin disappeared as soon as the attack began, but the others in my party performed admirably. I think this will be a fine team I have gotten myself on and feel confident now to continue this adventure with these fine fellows.

The Barbarian that fights with a war hammer, one Azercord by name, got quite bloody swinging that thing around at the kobolds. I whisper a quick incantation to remove the stains from his garments. (There are times when advertising one's skills by appearing drenched in another creature's blood can work to one's advantage--but I don't know that we've reached such a time yet, and Azercord asked for my help.)

The devilkin has returned now. But where are its muffins? Spell-casting always makes me hungry, but here we are out in the middle of nowhere with no food to be found. (Unless one counts the raw meat the kobolds were carrying. But I haven't the stomach for raw meat and haven't the time to cook it. Besides which, it is impossible to tell the parentage of that meat. No. I shall pass on the meat and hope for better fare at our next destination. A quick jog (50 march steps, 150 high knees) brings me to the watch's outpost, where I find the Barbarians BatOutOfHell and Katia already waiting. I nod to my new friends, then survey our new surroundings, eyes and nose alert for signs of something good to eat.

No BatOutOfHell , your hiding skills are actually great, I was searching for a strategic place to hide, you were on the best location so I thought I'd better join you. Yes let's stay here for a while. I'll be quiet now so I can hear any kind of approach, sometimes two sets of eyes are not enough, we must stay alert.

I arrive at the meeting point. With my hand on Lucky's hilt, I slink in the shadows wondering where everyone is. I see a strategic place to hide and head for it. Lucky's hilt gets warmer. I step aside, and the hilt gets colder. Now I know where the ambush will be. I creep up on the best strategic hiding place and see friends, not enemies.

I'll be away most of the day running my tabletop D&D campaign and will check this thread when I get back.

I see them leaving. I join them and place some muffins for them at the outpost, maybe they don't attack me then.
I love my demonic little backpack with its endless supply of tasty muffins.

Muffins! Thank you Teufelchen . Just what I was hankering for. And they're so fresh! Much better than the goblins' mystery meat.

After the battle the blood spatters drained from my clothes, the mage must have heard me. Notes to self, mage has good ears...add mage to Christmas list.

Everyone else seems to have hurried off to our final destination although I'm not sure why with all this fresh meat lying around. Kobold is quite tasty if you spice it right.

I build a fire and set some meat to cook. While it is cooking I offer up some prayers to my God for a successful battle. Now to enjoy some cook meat, it might not be the best but it is better than nothing and a man has to eat after spending that much energy smashing Kobolds into the ground.

After a fairly satisfying meal I set out after my party. (2 mile run)

I think I've arrived at the spot we are supposed to meet...no one else is around...maybe they got lost or are taking a nap somewhere? Oh well. I plop down in the middle of a clearing and start a fire. Once it is going I place some spiced meat on to roast and dry.

Might as well make myself comfortable while I wait, I'm sure everyone will show up eventually.

A guard approaches your hiding position.
“My captain send me over to ask you if you are done playing here and would like to come in. Our great hall offers bread, broth and beer. Furthermore my Captain would like to have a word with you there. Then you can play another round of hide and seek.“

                              Ah....OK.

Part of our group is wandering around, dropping muffins (may I have one, please?) which, according to Rainbow Dragon must be deliceous. Another one is sitting in a clearing besides a campfire.

Do we three in our hiding place agree it is a safe place... at least for the time being?

Maybe we should silently spread and keep our eyes and ears open (magic devices are also fully appreciated) for at least 15 minutes.

I watch as a guard approaches a shadowed area off to the side of the watch tower. Figuring he is just out to relieve himself I don't pay him much mind but to my astonishment I watch as my companions suddenly appear out of the shadows. Holy cow I need to learn how to do that...good thing a berserker don't need stealth I'd be a dead man.

I quickly kick out my campfire and gather up my belonging and catch up with the group. Hey, that little imp thing is back...I wonder if those muffins are any good.
