    Before & After section | NEW

    This is just a quick announcement. We have a new section in the Hive called Before & After now.

    This is a trial to show the positive effect our programs and mealplans have so that someone completely new to them (and us) can decide to give DAREBEE a shot. We were reluctant in the past to have the section like this because we believe in the non-judgmental, inclusive, welcoming environment that is The Hive. We are fighting our own prejudice on this one here to show that such a section can still be positive and life-affirming. I volunteered to be the first for the project to illustrate how effective our plans can be and how moderate changes in your lifestyle can affect your quality of life and your general wellbeing. For me, the major change was my mood and sleeping patterns. Since the experiment had a short lifespan (60 days) I could see drastic changes in how I felt and the emotional toll it takes.     Everyone is welcome to post in the section. You don't need to post pictures, you can just share your own journey. The primary goal here is to show that what we do here has actual impact and gives real results. In the process you will also help and inspire others who are in their own journey to better health and fitness. For all of us here it's an obvious thing - we've done it, we know DAREBEE works but for those who just come in, it isn't and we must respect that and find ways, without compromising our beliefs, to show it and reassure new-bees that just because DAREBEE is a free non-profit what we provide here is quality materials and quality information and that it delivers results. Others simply package and sell it, we just give it to you to help you, make your life better, make you happier and healthier and you in return make the world better alongside us.

    Well, that's the hope

    P.S. We are still working on the new section we've promised (main website). It's coming along! So we should be able to announce it this upcoming week. We can't wait!

    CAN'T WAIT TO SEE the new section.

    Thank you for the update. It's a nice section. I guess as long as we are doing it with good intentions it will give a nice vibe that shouldn't go wrong.

      I have a question, if you don't do the darebee programs but use the meal plans or recipes from the recipes section can you still post there?

      What I mean is I am going to start the ETK program, wrestling and BJJ in the new year but am considering using the MHM Vero. Would that still be ok to post in the before/after?

      Sorry for the dumb question but I don't want to do something wrong.

          I think this new section is a great idea, an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.
          Many times I have benefited greatly from asking advice from those who had already done the things I wanted to do too

            WOW... Amazing... It is really good to have such a section... Nothing is always perfect and those who do not want to see good will never see it...
            So keeping aside all the stuff, this will surely help many and also those who are tracking the progress in different check-in or other threads can update in this section (is it possible??)...
            Another great motivational section it will be... totally user feedback in a way...
            Thank you DAREBEE Team, Once again for all the effort you put in and bringing this amazing resource to all....

                  I believe that a section like this definitely has the potential to be very useful to people who use Darebee, old and new alike. I personally don't think there will be any trouble with this new feature.

                    I think it's a great idea. People love "before and after" photos, and a lot of new users ask about them as "proof."

                    I've been visiting this site regularly for years, and as others have said - I wish I had a real "before."

                          Musical gym I waited until ~4 months to take a proper progress pic and mildly regret it. Good stuff for taking them.

                            oneironaut I am still new, only 41 days of exercising. I thought it’s good take photos now, although I have lost 2kg since I started and I’m sure I have gained muscle weight.

                            the photos aren’t prefect but I want to see how I would look like after a few months from now.
