I decided to celebrate that I during today's training session would reach my goal for the year of doing 24.000 push-ups by doing Onna-Bugeisha on level 1. Onna-Bugeisha was perfect for the occasion. It contained thirty hidden burpees in each set and because it has been a while since I did a combat workout. The funny thing is, I am already looking forward to January 1 where I will reset the push-up counter to one. I decided to start on Foundation as my warm-up program to get some variation.

    Warm-up
Foundation Day 1 lv III (no rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

    Workout of the Day (WOD)
Onna-Bugeisha lv I with ec (rest <45 seconds rest between sets)

    Challenges
    Jump Rope Challenge Day 1

    Splits Challenge Day 1

    Daily push-up Challenge Day 28 (push-ups: 20 stacked push-ups, 20 raised legs push-ups and 10 staggered push-ups)

Legs of Steel Challenge Day 12

The Impossible Abs Challenge Day 12 (done in one go)

Back & shoulders Challenge Day 12

Easy Core Challenge Day 12 (Three sets of twenty side bends and twenty twists)

    Finisher
Touch your toes: 60sec toes reach (almost there)

3 sets of 10 reps simultaneous standing bicep curls (10kg dumbbells)

    Total push-ups 2020: 24.060

    Total pull-ups 2020: 323

    Total Indoor Rowing: 135.597m

A Virtual Trip Around The World 1890: 99,1 km

    Walking to Mordor

    Days of consecutive training: 78

Gandhalfit - It is too early for class assisting. I haven't yet decided when I will transition from my current job to a teacher's assistant. At the moment I think I will wait until I have finished Mathematics. I have three semesters left of the course

Good luck with your training and your training.
Have you done any class assisting yet or is it too early?

I had another great training session today. It was the fourth time I finished Vitality. I looked through my training diary to see the first entry for my third rerun of the program. I had to go back to September 13. That says something about how little I have been training this fall. The lack of training is mainly due to my teacher education. Right now, there is a much-needed break between the semesters. The Teacher Education programme has been super exciting and very hectic, with many reading materials and written assignments. I will spend time in the semester break to overview what we have dealt with this semester. It can be challenging to maintain the helicopter view when you are in the middle of the semester. It helps gather your thoughts when you have a holiday and get the chance to form an overview of the subject. Oh, and I passed my first subject "Student learning and development" in "The teacher's foundational competences".

    Warm-up
Vitality Day 30 lv III (no rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

    Cardio
60 days of Cardio Day 42 lv III (no rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

    Workout of the Day (WOD)
High Gear Day 24 lv III (rest <45 seconds rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

    Challenges
    Daily push-up Challenge Day 27 (regular push-ups: 14/14/14)

Legs of Steel Challenge Day 11

The Impossible Abs Challenge Day 11 (done in one go)

Back & shoulders Challenge Day 11

I combined the Abs Challenge and the Back and Shoulders Challenge.

Easy Core Challenge Day 11 (Three sets of twelve side bends and twenty twists)

    Finisher
    15 decline push-ups

    10 regular push-ups

Touch your toes: 60sec toes reach (almost there)

    Total push-ups 2020: 23.850

    Total pull-ups 2020: 323

    Total Indoor Rowing: 135.597m

A Virtual Trip Around The World 1890: 90,3 km

    Days of consecutive training: 77

I had a perfect training session today. It was one of those days where my muscles felt tense, and my body was stiff, which gave me a slight headache.

I always train outside. The weather was quite stormy, it was just above freezing point, and it was snowing. In other words, the weather was just perfect for my mood. I had decided to finish Fit Christmas as Christmas is over. It was great to complete the program and come one step closer to my push-ups goal of the year. My headache went away quite quickly when I first started training because of the temperature and the training warming and loosen up the muscles. I felt rejuvenated in body and spirit after the training session.

    Warm-up
Vitality Day 29 lv III (no rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

    Workout of the Day (WOD)
Fit Christmas Day 8 lv III (rest <30 seconds rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set.

Fit Christmas Day 10 lv III (no rest between sets)

I did ten push-ups as part of every set, and fifty butt kicks*.

*Fit Christmas Day 12 (done as part of Day 10)

Fit Christmas Day 7 lv III (rest 30 seconds rest between each exercise)

I did ten push-ups before each exercise and 2*ten push-ups after the last exercise.

    Challenges
    Daily push-up Challenge Day 26 (push-ups: 20 stacked push-ups, 20 raised legs push-ups and 10 staggered push-ups)

Legs of Steel Challenge Day 10

The Impossible Abs Challenge Day 10 (done in one go)

Back & shoulders Challenge Day 10

Easy Core Challenge Day 10 (Three sets of twenty side bends and twenty twists)

    Total pull-ups 2020: 323

    Total Indoor Rowing: 135.597m
