    Today I decided to do a modified version of Epic Dash. I set a target of 6 burpees and 15 push-ups. I found it extremely challenging, and I had to stop after five sets. I was out of breath, and my pulse was racing like a galloping racehorse. It would have been unwise to press on for level three. Maybe it was because I had a large lunch or I was doing the workout in the sun or a combination of both which made the workout so challenging.

    I'm looking forward to doing it again soon to establish whether it is the workout in itself, which is challenging me, or it was my form of the day.

    I substituted basic burpees with burpees and I did 20 seconds of the two segments of burpees and of the push-ups segment.

    I did 6 burpees in each burpees segment and 17 push-ups in the push-ups segment.

      I didn't feel too well in the afternoon and evening. I was not sure what it was. Maybe it was something I had for lunch. I, therefore, decided to postpone my workout session to tomorrow and spent the time on the couch instead.

            I still felt a bit off today. That combined with a family trip in the afternoon resulted in the postponement of my regular training program, and I chose to do Zen instead.

              Double Helix was the perfect choice for today’s workout. I did eight sets of the workout to push myself. I felt strong, so I did some push-ups, indoor rowing and dumbbell curls to finish off my training session.

                    I decided to do Power Shed, as it is not too hard a HIIT workout to start with after a few days of rest.

                        I managed to keep my target of 20 push-ups in each push-ups segment throughout Power Strike.

                        I will continue to do eight sets of the HIIT workouts for a couple of more weeks. If I during this period can maintain my target number of push-ups more or less throughout the HIIT exercises, I will then try to do nine sets.

                          We had a windy day. The waves (2-3 ft height) were perfect today, and I had a great swim.

                          I had great fun bodysurfing. It was so much fun to ride the waves when I hit the waves at the right moment.

                            I had a great experience bodysurfing. Yesterday, I saw some Youtube videos about one's technique when bodysurfing and the benefit of using fins. So today I used swimming fins. Even though it is not proper bodysurfing fins but snorkel diving fins it gave me a lot of power and speed when riding the waves. It was a tremendous experience.

                                Today was the last holiday in our summerhouse. Most of the day was, therefore, spent finishing the remaining garden projects, packing and cleaning the house. Luckily we had time for a swim in the afternoon.

                                Tomorrow is my last holiday, and I start work Monday.
