                      At last! Yet again, I have managed to update my training diary.

                      Status June

                      It was my intention to continue with the same training program in July as in June. Unfortunately, my right foot did not benefit from the increased running intensity, on the contrary. I have for some time had some pain in the right foot around the heel and the Achilles tendon. For a long time I have also had what looks like a bone growth on the heel that has worsened. The pains have made me limp a little when they have been the worst. It seems to be the condition of Haglund's deformity.

                      I therefore decided to stop running, so as not to further aggravate the injury and I will go to the doctor after my summer vacation to get the foot examined.

                      I have to say that I really miss cardio training, and I have therefore considered what kind of cardio workout I can do which is low impact and which does not put pressure on the foot. I have for now decided to replace running with indoor rowing. I have ordered a book with indoor rowing workouts and will continue with 30 Days of Change when I receive the book replacing running with indoor rowing.

                      We are right now on summer vacation. I have spent 2-3 hours every day on gardening and have been swimming almost every day. It has been great to get away from my office chair and instead do a lot of outdoor activities with my family and friends. I have continued with my Inter Mundo's WOD. It is always a revelation how hard 50 push-ups feel in the evening after a day full of outdoor activities.

                      These were the words for now.

                        The rowing machine is probably a very good choice right now. Let's hope that problem with your foot will receive appropriate treatment.
                        But in the meantime, have fun with your family and friends! That may really be the most important thing.

                                yes it's a bummer especially as I always look forward to run during my summer vacation. I was uncertain if it would be possible this year as my injury has bothered me for some time but I had hoped to be able to run during the summer holidays despite my injury. However, I had to realize it would not be the wisest thing to do
