Daily Dare, 60 seconds elbow strikes
Full Circuit, Day 1
Exercise bike - and I increased my step count goal because I no longer believe that I am actually having surgery on a predictable schedule, so might as well have a higher step count
Aaaand my slightly belated badge day donation. I'd be embarrassed, but whatever.
Hugs for the unpredictability of surgery schedule. Is that due to COVID so they need to keep beds open in case / for COVID patients?
Yes, that's pretty much it exactly. A couple of days before the surgery date, there's a board at the hospital who decides if they have beds available for non-essential surgeries and how many.
Which is fine, right? I am fine and safe and that's really what matters.

Full Circuit, Day 4 - ow, my butt!
Daily Dare, 60 seconds march jacks - this took way more mental concentration that one might expect
Exercise bike
I've increased my daily step count goal again, so I'm back to what was my set-point for steady weight loss last year. Diet is still a work in progress, but I feel good about the week going forward and I had the vague realization that when I am consistently getting in 12,000 steps a day, I don't seem to want to binge on sugar. I do not know why that is, but it really seems to be true: if I am hitting that goal, I suddenly stop wanting to eat all the cookies. Some cookies, yes. All the cookies, no. (Here endeth the discussion of weight loss.)
