            Easy Core Challenge (11/30). Biking again, this time next to a river, so the terrain was pretty even. I did 19.38 km, I could've easily reached my 25k goal but I was running short on time. (: I had this feeling of progress as I was biking today, just this sudden realization of how much my body progressed. Now I want to transfer this dedication to my career!

                From my experience I can only tell that I often have accomplished more career-wise when I have accomplished more in other fields as well. When I did not accomplish too much, this applied to all areas of my life. However one cannot go full speed all the time imho - life's more like the sea, wave troughs follow the waves and vice versa.

                    DorothyMH - Thank you! Yeah, I'm noticing that I get that endorphin rush more frequently when I work out.

                    Botenlauben & Gandhalfit - Thank you for the support! I ADORE what I do (I work in film) but it's also a struggling industry. At the moment, I'm working on a personal project (got some approved funding, signing the contract tomorrow - yaay!) but sometimes I'm also struggling and I feel like I could be more productive. I used to do these cycles of insane work hours for a couple of months (which also meant neglecting my health and personal life) and then crashing after a project. This is sort of the reality of the situation for a lot of us, and I'm sort of fine with it. I'm just trying to slowly build my healthy habits now when I'm taking things slow, so that it'll be easier to stick with them when times get crazier. But I do feel like I can step it up a little bit. (:

                    Alright, so I have been absent yesterday because my friend who lives on the other side of the country just broke up with her now ex-partner and a couple of friends and I helped her pack up her things and move. I woke up @7.42, and drove cross country with another friend. Then we spent the day packing, carrying stuff (which I count as exercise for the day), and arguing with her ex-mother-in-law... Stressful day for everyone. Came home at midnight, did my meditation, died.

                    Today:

                    Workout:
                    Easy Core Challenge (12 & 13/30). Went hiking, did 10.27 km, started at 302 m, hiked up to 602 m. Had fun!

                      I guess if you're not in the mega films making, it is very challenging. I know artists and related professionals here are constantly struggling making a living out of it. Best of luck to you, it must be a real passion.

                        Having a friend like you can save a person so much grief. When my sister finally broke up with her fiance, it was to discover our cousin had cleaned out his guest room (with the help of another friend) and they had her moved in with (most) of her things by the next day. She's brought it up, more than once, on how much it means to her.

                        So you are an amazing friend and I'm sure she's feeling that right now.

                          Gandhalfit - Thank you! I don't struggle financially, I have a regular gig working as a broadcast on cruise ships and when I'm home, I try to do art. The plan is to quit cruise ships and live from my projects, it's totally doable, I'm just transitioning. (:

                          JCU - Thank you! Friendship is probably one of the highest values for me and in my experience, it's the tough situations that show us, who our friends really are (and in your case, what family really means). She stuck with me through my hard times, when some other people I considered friends let me down.I do the same for her in a heartbeat. I have a few friendships like that and I'm very very grateful to have people like this in my life. (:

                              Started with the Upperbody Challenge (1/30). I went on a hike today and I was wearing a tank top. I looked at my arms and I've decided that I need to do something. Day 1 wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. I did 12.54 km, lowest point 292m, highest 501m (on top of a watchtower - you can see it in the distance on top of a hill).
