      Anek it was delicious, we already ate it in two days (three persons / 2 days ; I halved the recipe so it was supposed to be for 8. That speaks from itself, LOL!)
      DorothyMH , it is an electronic copy of the "moosewood cookbook" on my kindle, I had forgotten about it until someone mentionned a moosewood recipe recently ; and I thought I'd try a few recipes while with my parents. We all cook, each in our style. Actually, having had to live alone before mom, when they married, Dad knew how to cook, and mom quite less (her mother was an average cook, not due to lack of skill, but more lack of interest). So even when he worked, I have seen him cook during week-ends and vacations. And mom learned to cook quite well, afterwards, she really enjoys receiving and treating guests.

      Yesterday evening, reading and 2 of the 2 steps of self care done.
      This morning Total Burn day 21, Better abs D22, 13 minutes meditation.

          This morning Total Burn day 23, Better abs D24, 7 minutes meditation. I baked another cake, the "apricots and almond bread" again from the Moosewood cafe cookbook. Wondering if my parents can wait until dinner to try it, LOL!

            Wow, I had a friend visiting , and time flew!
            I continued evening, reading and 2 of the 2 steps of self care done
            And morning Total Burn day 24 to 27, Better abs D25 to 28. However, two days of meditation were missed.
            This is the friend I mentioned who has had breast cancer surgery ; she had stretching and remusculation to do, so during that time I did Total Burn and better abs, and we cheered on each other I hope I was able to get her out of her worries for a little bit, and with some positive memories to tide her over during tough times.

            This week, fresh cooking done (the cakes and tuna noodles), 7 days out of 7 walking at least 5,000 steps - including 10,000 and 20,000 steps respectively (thaks to my friends visit), meditation not good (5 days), reading good, evening self care done . Fish eaten several times.
            Globally, this year, goals reached were:

            Walking at least 5,000 steps at least 6 days: 8 weeks/10
            Meditation at least 6 days: 9 weeks/10
            reading at least 15 minutes: 10 weeks out of 10
            cooking at least one fresh dish: 7 weeks out of 10
            evening self care two steps at least 6: 10 weeks out of 10
            eating fish at least once a week: 10 weeks out of 10.

            238 consecutive days of exercise, Day 210 was February 28th

                Monday evening reading and 2 of the 2 steps of self care done.
                Yesterday morning Total Burn day 28, Better abs D29, 5 minutes equal breathing exercise, and aqua bike class, that one is fun and less risk of getting my leg scrapped, LOL!

                Yesterday night reading and 2 of the 2 steps of self care done.
                This morning Total Burn Day 29, Better abs D30 , 5 minutes alternate nostril breathing, and yoga class.

                240 consecutive days of exercise, Day 240 is March 30th.

                              This was "just" Challenge day, Badge day is today !

                              Yesterday night reading and 2 of the 2 steps of self care done.
                              This morning Total Burn Day 30 , 5 minutes meditation. I am having my parents for lunch tomorrow, so starting to prepare somme of the meal - will do the cornbread tonight, and an adaptation of the Moosewood cafe's sweet-and-tangy bean casserole tomorrow (with black eyed peas cause that's what I have, LOL). And yep, I have been leafing a lot through their cookbook this past weeks, I hadn't really put it to use before, and quite enjoy it. My parents particularly enjoyed the cardamon-and-nuts coffee cake, I already know I will have to do it again next time we spend time together in St Malo.

                              241 consecutive days of exercise, Day 240 is March 30th.
