    Today I did the cardio warm up, 2*15 crunches, 30 secs wall squat, warrior III, and a yin yoga session.

    69 consecutive days of exercise (60 days on 16/04)

    This week, 7 days of meditation / breathing exercise, weight stable, back and knee fine, a total of 130 mins exercise at at least moderate heart rate, and 6 days out of 7 walking at least 5,000 steps. Apparently I am correctly getting into the habit of walking daily, to compensate telecommuting.

      Went through your logs quickly, you're doing great! I found a lot of pleasure in walking and it's what I started with so it's encouraging to see seasoned bees do the same exercises. Keep it up and all the best this week! (:

        Thank you motionaction COVID and telecommutting don't help for the waking - before (before COVID and my heart decompensating, so working classical desk job), I did my 10,000 steps 6 days out of 7 easily. Right now 5,000 are a more realistic goal, but yes I think they matter very much in overall training!

        Today I did the cardio warm up, 2*15 flutter kicks, 2*10 unassisted squats, warrior III, and at level II.

          Yesterday was ... a very hectic day, ended up well but it wasn't straightforward. so only 15 mins yoga.

                  Today I did the cardio warm up, 2*15 crunches, 30 secs wall squat, half moon asana (I do it helped with a block), and yin yoga.

                  76 consecutive days of exercise (60 days on 16/04)

                  6 days of meditation, 7 days of walking at least 5,000 steps. Knee and back are fine - by the way, with the fact that now those 5,000 steps are regular, I am pretty happy my knee is doing good. The knee exercises + extra caution for some of asanas and squats / lunges seem to be paying off.
                  Next week - wednesday, actually, second dose of Pfizer COVID vaccine , and busy work week ahead (basically the week of the month where I gotta field the different requests done for our little specialty group - gotta be pretty reactive about it).

                  The area of Paris I hope to move to, this summer / early fall, does have really nice walking zones, so I am looking forward to it.

                        Ha, not quite if you mean the one from Bastille to Nation. But la coulée verte is nice, as is the petite ceinture (basically older track trains that circled Paris that've been updated in walking areas). I will have to take the bus to get to green areas, but just a few stations, and one is within 15 mins walking distance, so for Paris it is a really nice situation.

                            DorothyMH: I'm impressed that at that height and with no visible joints* she can do things like squats at all.

                              LOL, my bad! they are assisted ; unassisted I can get about to tighs paralel to the floor, but a bit wobly. I corrected. It's one of my exercises to fire up my quads, to protect my knee.

                              And LOL wjs , yes, my two "la parisienne races" in 2019 and 2020... Good memories!
