    Took dogs outside for training. Tried to walk with high knees. It felt incredibly stupid, and the dogs were more interested in the treats anyway. I’ll revisit this later (if I feel the need). I moved on to the next lesson and I have to teach them to lay down. One of the assignments for this is to meet three men and have them give them treats. Uh... we’re not around a lot of people. Even when we’re walking, we hardly ever see other people. The ones I do see are usually either walking into their houses or getting in their cars. And there are enough dogs walking around that I don’t feel comfortable taking treats with me,

    I’m counting last night towards my yoga streak, because I tried. My intention was to do the sequence and then go directly to sleep. But my cat, Gator, wanted snuggles and I had to get Rolo and Fonzie to leave him alone. Finally got them settled again, and Rolo laid right by me and Gator decided to lay on my feet. The windshield wipers to straight legs thingy wax not happening, so I called it a night. But like I said, at least I tried, so even though I’m not happy with last night’s practice, it’s better than nothing.

          I planned on giving Rolo a bath before sweeping and mopping the floors and cleaning my bathroom. My friend stopped by on her way back home and we visited for about 2 hours. By the time she left and we ate dinner, I was so exhausted that I just decided to roll my plans over to another day. My exhaustion wasn’t from socializing, but the fact that my insomnia has been acting up. It also didn’t help that I hadn’t eaten much all day.

          The dogs during the visit were very vocal and we had a few problems. The oldest two, Rolo and my parents’ dog, know her. Their dog is old enough that he was around her relatively often before she moved away. She’d moved away before I got Rolo, but visited enough that he’s fine with her. He’s always been vocal, never aggressive, and he usually stops when people scratch his back. My brother’s dog and Ringo are the ones we have problems with. My brother’s dog will try to bite people. Ringo is the one we have the most problems with overall. I got my brother’s dog to calm down by making him sit and giving him a treat. Ringo, on the other hand, is not a fan of anything new. I had my friend make him sit and give him a treat in an attempt to get him to trust her. He listened to her, but he was still vocal and acting up. He’d ask her to pet him and get mad when she does. He was the only one barking at one point; all the other dogs calmed down pretty easily and were their normal ornery selves. Ringo wasn’t too aggressive with her. He did nip at her a few times, but mostly he just barked. She also did not initiate any contact with him. She acknowledge him and talked to him, but didn’t touch him unless he initiated it.

                          DorothyMH I don’t think so. Fonzie is the only dog who scratches me when he wants attention. One of my other cats, Bunny, will reach for me and grab me. I’m not sure where he got it from. He’s always been a little different than the rest of them . He used to dive at my feet, wrap himself around my leg, and start kicking me, the little brat. He doesn’t do that as often anymore.

                            I’ve felt really crappy and down the last few days.

                            I did decide to make a game of this, because my motivation is pretty much nonexistent. I chose to earn crowns instead of stars. Each exercise I do has a chance of earning crowns, but each goal I reach is an automatic crown. Extra steps and heart points also has a chance of earning more crowns. I’ve planned my levels up to 100, but I didn’t plan the numbers too well. I’ll probably level up really quickly the first few days...

                                Superb idea! In most games you level up quickly and have to work more to advance, so it sounds like you're on the right track! Good luck with that!
