Don’t you just wish you could HEAR their words to know how to help when it seems like they are barking at....who the heck knows? Mine is elderly, and talks a LOT anyway. But, when there “something” he’s saying in an alarm fashion, all I can do is go check everything. He misses a lot these days, tho....

    Your workouts are looking GREAT!!

j5f6r5y Well, it’s been pretty hot here recently. This was a nice reprieve, even though I wish it wasn’t raining quite so hard because I have a window air conditioner in my room, and when it rains heavily water comes through. It’s back to being hot now.

      And thanks!

DorothyMH All the time! Fonzie is the littlest and he thinks he’s the boss. Any time there’s a little spat between the other dogs, he has to go “handle” it. He also likes to bark at other dogs until they give him the toy they have... Ringo doesn’t like anything new. Even if someone in our family is outside and he’s not used to seeing them out there, he barks. I have to go and show him whatever it is before he stops. And if someone is eating something, he’ll literally say “ow” because he wants it. But I definitely want to hear what they say, especially when they start “cussing” us!

        And thank you!

The only good thing about my caffeine intake is that it stops me snacking. I work from home, so the kitchen is a temptation for all sorts of reasons...

            11 Consecutive Days of Yoga

It was a little bit cooler yesterday morning that it had been, so I got to take the dogs for a little walk for the first time in forever. I had to take three at one time on one trip, and then two on the other. The group of three like to stroll and the other two like to go as fast as possible. We have another dog that refuses to go for a walk, and I don’t force him. We have a big enough back yard that they can all run and play everyday, so they get plenty of exercise even when they don’t walk. My pug, Rolo, was hot when we came back home, so I brought down his cooling mat. It took a while to get him to actually lay down on it, but once he did he was great.

The 30 Days of Yoga yesterday was harder than I anticipated. I felt pretty weak on some of those poses.

Mika I have a lot of tisanes and I keep telling myself to make a cup whenever I have the urge to snack. Hasn’t happened yet

I just switched recently to decaf beans and grind a nice amount for a day or two. I then forget that it's not caffeinated. Works like a charm. And when I switch back to real beans on occasion I also don't need so much. Main thing is staying off sweet stuff that's got only empty calories to offer. Alternatively: never eat anything with more than five ingredients (or seven or whatever). The Processed Food Rule.

                    13 Consecutive Days of Yoga

Had a headache earlier. I tried to avoid taking my breakthrough meds as long as possible, but finally had to use them. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get my workout in or not, but I got better.

I finally decided to use my lightweight resistance band for the Blogilates Butt Lift and Thigh Slimming Challenges. I just haven’t been feeling the moves much. I also placed a yoga block between my knees for bridge pose.

During all this, and for all of my workout (except for yoga), I listened to music. I never do this, since I’m usually following along to videos. But since my workouts have been virtually video free, and I had This Love by Maroon 5 stuck in my head, I figured why not? Also, having Nirvana’s cover of The Man Who Sold the World as my ringtone makes it very strange when that song comes on...

My arms starting burning by the 1 minute mark on the Daily Dare, but I made it!

Today’s Yoga with Adriene video was fun! She was pretty silly on this one, which I like. During head to knee pose, while guiding us, this little gem happened: “This should feel kind of yummy, so you don’t need to slam your nose to the knee. We’re not taking, um. I’m not gonna say that. Okay, I’ll stop talking.” Made me laugh, but also, I really wanted her to finish that thought.

And on a side note, finally decided what to pick for my class. I’m probably the only one who put that much thought into it...

Good to hear you felt good enough to do your exercises. I had the same with the elbow clicks (it seems so easy... but it's heavier then you expect...). It feels so good every time you succeed the daily dare with EC, isn't it? Well done.
