NancyTree Thank you! The view to the west (sea), north (dunes) and east (lakes and woods) is beautiful. To the south Tata dominates the view and in my opinion one can only hope that this polluting disgrace will disappear from view in the very near future. But still, it’s a lovey spot. If you’re ever in the area look up Hoge Toren.
TopNotch Thanks! I’m a huge fan of this challenge. Personally I rather hug and compliment myself than go over a day and find something I’m grateful for. I’m not a fan of looking back and rehashing my day (especially the days I spend number crunching and data analysing, should I be grateful for X.LOOKUP or a pie chart?). I’m using the hug challenge to look forward and think about the good stuff that’s coming.
In case anyone gets the impression that I’m a huge optimist: I’m not. I’m prone to depressions. The hug challenge does help keeping me reasonably sane.
8,5 km run - trail and road - first part in the dunes and after sunset over the little roads between the fields where the fresh hay smells wonderfully sweet
Nosy cow in the dunes. There were 4 of them in my way and I had to make a detour as not to disturb them. This is one of the more playful younger males, he has a lighter coloured mate (always close by) he messes around with sometimes. That’s nice to observe on a safe distance, but I’m not very fond of walking between them.
