      Today was a rough day mental-health wise. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety about how to approach family gatherings in the coming weeks, given the fact that not everyone is willing to be vaccinated or continuing to take precautions against Covid. I had a long phone call with my sister and felt much better afterwards. No one understands family dynamics quite like a sibling does!

          Rather than "adjust" to the end of daylight saving time, I'm doing what I did last year and am getting up an hour earlier to take advantage of the before-work sunlight (so it "feels" like I'm getting up at the same time I was before). Rather than getting up at 7:30, I'm now getting up at 6:30 and going for a longer walk before work. We'll see if I can keep it up all winter!
