    Evening:

    C_Dead hang_30 (50/35/35)

    Family deadhang challenge (sec):
Daughter: no gloves: 39; gloves: 22
Son: no gloves: 20; gloves: 38
    Partner: no gloves: 50
Me: gloves: 60...because I had to beat my partner. My arms and hands are so dead.

    Deadhang Challenge:
This challenge is hard. Mentally and physically hard. I started it mainly to see if I could get my grip to the standard 'hang for 60' benchmark after injury. Tick!
Think I might do some more bar related challenges to see if I can convince my partner we should up grade...there was grumbling about the current set up today

Io6 I've just started this challenge and I've come early to realize that it will become a LOT harder. The 10-second holds are easy enough, but building up to the 2 minutes will be interesting...
      Well done completing the challenge!

Admitting that I would need to accept split times for remounts to make up times over ~1min hurt my ego TopNotch AgilePhoenix but I figure a bit of bruising does me good!

If it can console you, I couldn't manage to hang myself for 2 minutes in a row

                  2nd March

                  Today's DD, EC

I decided I wanted to work my core, came up with a plan. Darebee puts out a program! I have scrapped a chunk of my plan and replaced it with Core Strength.

                  P_Core Strength_1

Two hang challenges (may trim to one):
                  C_Flex Hang_1
                  C_Negative Pullup_1

                  Cossack

The remainder of my plan involves playing ball games (fit/ swisse ball) as drills. Today's is:

Balance on the ball: hold ball with your knees and fold your legs up.

                  Fighter's stretching

Good job on the Dead Hang. It’s hard. I got to that point, too, of having to break it into parts to get to 2 mins. I also was doing 2-3 bar related challenges at once and had to drop back to one bar related exercise per day, due to burn out and demoralization. One exercise on the bar per day and rotating through them in a week seemed to boost my ability and strength as well as my confidence😅💪🏼Good luck with your plan!👏🏼

I will be dropping to just the negatives tomorrow DorothyMH . I found the mental toughness of the flex hang and the staying balanced on the ball (I'm building to 5min blocks) too much. Your right, to continue would have been hitting myself with the same stick.

                          P_Core Strength_2, awesome day

Pin the ball: Continuous motion but keeping the ball pinned.
Sounds simple but nearly lost my cup of tea keeping the ball pinned. Amazing workout. A bit worried about tomorrow now!

For pin the ball, Is that a fitness ball you are planking on, or....?😳

I too am interested to know more about these ball drills. Is this someone else's program you are following, or exercises of your own design? What is involved in keeping the ball "pinned"?

Pinning is a central grappling technique where you are holding your opponent in place.
Since I'm using a fitball/swiss ball/ stability ball DorothyMH the pin is focused on pressing with my body.
Not my idea. But not a formal program. Using a fitball is the fall back when no one else has turned up to training (rare). I am mixing it up a little. I have only given this a quick look but this looks similar. I am using a full size ball. Rainbow Dragon
