Building a better me... aiming for consistency

Hi all, my name is Igor from Italy, 46, IT professional.
I was wandering here some months ago, when I was training for my 5th marathon.

A lot of time passed, a hack attack on the site, no more favourites and /dd page, but I am still here looking for advices and expecially for motivation.
I started for seriuos training a lot of times and I can say that my only success in training was at age of 40 when I set and get the marathon goal.
My first one was not a success, but I really kept consistent and run a lot of km in preparation.
I run 5 marathons in total, completed only 4, last one I suffered a knee injury, it took a lot of time to recover. Honestly I was undertrained for the last one...

After this result, I am always trying... I begin gym, then leave, then spinning... for 10 lessons then leave. some tennis then no partner to play with...
I still run, but a lot less than when under training.

I can say that my only determination is my lack of determination...
I still follow the dream to run a marathon under 4 hours, because I am quite sure that the only sport where I have some ability is long distance running.

I am not sure if this post will be motivating, or will help in reaching some result... I was not sure even about writing here...
Meanwhile I will eat better, aiming to lose some 4-5 kg (actually I am 80 kg for 175 cm... this doesn't help me running) before the end of January.
I'm happy to be here again!

    Updates:
Actual goal is to reach some consistency in training: I am trying to reach Daily Dare with EC for 100 days.

Day 3 of consecutive Dailty Dare.
Just discovered the Advent calendar, starting from day 1 - Squat Hold... demanding, but managed in one set.

Day 4 of consecutive DD, this seemed easy.
Day 2 of Advent Calendar, not so demanding.
Day 3 of Advent Calendar, again, manageable (I've to get back on track)
Tonight I'll go out for a run...
No. No run, busy with family...

Today was a busy day at work, I was away and got back home really late.
But I managed to do the day 5 of consecutive DD. A though one for me.
Then I did Day 4 and 5 of Advent Calendar.
I usually have "problems" on weekend to stay on track.

Day 6 of Daily Dare. This was a known one...
Day 6 and 7 of Advent Calendar, so now I'm back on track.

Having to come here to write every day my "progresses" helps me to stay focused and find the time to do the 2 or 3 simple exercises.
              I had a look at a puh-up discussion "The Pushers"... https://darebee.com/hive/the-pushers#post319724
I think I'll add this after Advent.

I missed one day of writing, but not my 5-minute exercise.
Still on track, Day 10 of DD and Day 11 of Advent Calendar.

Still on track... couldn't post yesterday, but I'm still alive! day 12 and 13 of DD, and day 13 and 14 of Advent. Some hare hard, some are not... But usually my lack of consistency comes on sunday...

Day 17 of DD and 18 for Advent Calendar.
I quit alcohol on the 1st of December (I'm not a heavy drinker, 3-4 beers a week or some wine), so it's 18 days since last beer.
                          I saw some snowballs coming...
