Trail Mix Day, We Love Memoirs Day, Overdose Awareness Day, Love Litigating Lawyers Day, International Day for the People of African Descent (UN sanctioned) and the national days of Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia (Merdeka), and Trinidad & Tobago.
I took the day off so I could treat my wife to some home-made Malaysian food. Breakfast was Nasi Lemak which is one of her favourites. Lunch I introduced the family to Doubles (Trinidad & Tobago staple) and dinner was Malaysian Nonya Chicken Curry and Beef Rendang.
Which left little time to workout

August Summary
Running: 0 km (still)
Walking: 70.35 km and 4.88 (Treadmill) - huge improvement on July
Yoga: 0 minutes (still)
ROMWOD: 0
EODs: 24
Workouts: 24 not as good as July but factoring in injury time, not too bad. Just means I have an easier target to be in September.
Steps: 508664 = 17,016 steps/day which is nearly 100,000 steps more than July.
All in all, an average month with a lot of walking. It is a start. I'd like to shed a bit more weight and get back into more rigorous exercise. The walking is helping though.
