    Breaking Rust

    Entry:
So, preface and a bit of background to start things off. I used to be pretty fit but due to a severe back injury, financial issues and a few months of self loathing I've fallen behind the wagon a bit. The muscles are now hidden under squishy adipose tissue and I'm quite a bit weaker than before.

I'll spare you the excuses I've been making to myself for almost a year, I've decided it's time to clean the dust off and start regaining some of my lost strength and general awesomeness. And I'm starting this check in thread to try and keep myself accountable in attaining that goal.

Progress is pretty slow as expected, interestingly my weakpoints from before seem to have deteriorated the least. I theorise that that difference might be more perceived than anything as I didn't think I was strong in those areas before so the reduction in performance is less noticeable?

Getting back into a workout routine has been pretty beneficial so far, I'm already noticing an improvement in my mood and how I perceive myself despite there not being any physical improvements yet. I'll push on.
