    Higher, Further, Faster Baby.

    INTRODUCTION
So I am not really all that *new* to Darebee if I was honest. I used this website about way back in 2016. Now I am back! So I'd like to call myself an adept crossfiter. I have been in and out of the local box for the last three years and this year is my year full of dedication. Unfortunately, I had some financial issues happen last month and had to stop crossfit for a bit. Our community is big on checking in on members and they had their check in with me today. We talked about the situation and my possible return date some time next month. A question was raised. "Have you been doing anything fitness wise?"

My answer was a big fat "Lol Nope.".

I spent today dialing back my nutrition to where it needs to be and thought about trying my own thing at home, and remembered this place. So here I am. I am going to start off some basic goals to just get started and get a routine going and update this journal for my big motivation!

    GOALS
    FOUNDATIONS 2/30
    FIRST THING WATER 3/30
    ONLY HOMEMADE 3/15
    BACK & CORE 2/30
DAILY DARE FOR 100 DAYS 3/100

    DAY 1 | 7/10/2019
    FOUNDATIONS DAY 1
    FIRST THING WATER DAY 1
    ONLY HOMEMADE DAY 1
DAILY DARE W/ EC DAY 1

    THOUGHTS
I did 5 rounds of foundations and found it pretty easy. Not too surprising for me. May add in another goal for this month to do some sit ups or core building exercises. The Daily Dare was brutal for me. It took some serious will power for me to get that EC.

    NERD QUOTE OF THE DAY

Good job with getting onto those goals to substitute for CF, at least for the time being! Nice start on your thread, too! I look forward to following your progress. There is a nice core challenge you could add if you’re looking for “more.” This place is loaded with additional....everythings!!😅

That's a very nice cat you have

Welcome aboard! It's always nice to see new (well, new to me) bees get off the blocks.

There's no shame in starting with Foundation, you can use that to see where you are and then consider harder workouts, programs, and the like after that. You'll be back in the game quickly!

I started off with Back & Core today and loved it. Went right into Foundations afterwards. Still staying pretty strong with my water intake and eating well!
The DD today was rougher than yesterday!!! Balance is a no for me.

No Foundations today! My legs are worked and I am gonna give them a break!
So a few updates beyond that. I weighed in at 216 three weeks ago. Today I am 211.
Next I signed up for a local free contest with one of our supplement stores. 8 weeks to lose some major weight and hit goals! Instead of cat pics today we will have the Day 1 pics I sent in for the contest. So you guys can see future progress as well.

But you collected on Back & Core and the Daily Dare, which in my view is pretty darn good. It's important to listen to your body (yes, I know, who am I to say that...you'd understand why I feel like a hypocrite saying that if you read my check-in thread).

Anyway, it sounds like you are on your way, and if taking part in a contest will help keep you motivated, so much the better. I will be rooting for you.

                            Just a quick update:

So I work on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 13 hours on my feet intense and fast paced. The chances I do anything extra on these three days are rare considering how worn out I am by time I get home.

Tomorrow is the start of the challenge so I will update again tomorrow.

That being said Home cooked meals and Water intake is still going good!

I totally understand. Work days that hectic and that long are nothing short of brutal...if there are G-rated words in the language of English appropriate for describing them.

Great work on the home cooked meals and water intake so far. I really need to look into the latter as I am consistently coming up short there.

Wishing you the very best on the challenge, we're here for you!
