    Travel went okay but damn I was tired, so...

                December 12 was day 1046. 5 pushups off the wall, 50 punches, 5 pushups off the wall, 50 punches.

                I have to admit that part of the reason I haven't exercised much lately is that both my sewing machine and serger are in the same room as my weights and bench, and working on cloning a disintegrating pair of shorts for a loved one or making my own sports bra can be much .ore appealing than workout routines. I need to compensate for this.

                  Oooh, that’s a dicey combo for workout incentive If my workout gear was in the same room as my quilting stuff, I doubt any workout s would happen I would have to invent a trade/incentive plan: x time for workout, THEN Y time for sewing

                    Yeah, it's a small apartment: bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, front room. Front room has been home office since March of 2020, weight room since a little bit after that, and sewing room since I acquired a sewing machine in June of 2020. I've tried exercising in the kitchen, which doesn't work that well, and the living room is something of an option but requires constant vigilance to avoid the possibility of interference from the cat (she is not the kind of cat who walks up to the edge of an exercise space and stays there until you're done). So it gets tricky.

                    However, if it comes right down to it, the easy abs/easy core challenges broke off because I just don't like doing those, so I'm falling back to something I actually WANT to do.

                    Punch Out! challenge day 1: 80 punches
                    10,000 Punches challenge day 1: 5 pushups, 160 punches (this count is kept separately from the Punch Out! punches)

                          Dec. 18 was day 1052, but I got wrapped up in other things and wound up just doing three sets of 15 wall pushups before bed to maintain the streak.

                          Dec. 19 was day 1053. 10,000 Punches, day 6, 3 sets of 5 wall pushups, 240 punches.

                              Tomorrow I am taking the train to visit my family in New Jersey. I spent time in between actual work stuff this morning stitching up three N95 mask covers- fabric, with earloops, meant to go over a commercially produced N95 so it'll be spared a measure of incoming airborne crap and last longer, not unlike the pre-filter fabric on my air purifier in the kitchen.
