And another day done. It doesn´t feel like this is getting easier. On the contrary. My legs hurt since wednesday. And I think I caught a cold this week, although that´s no surprise, given the weather last week.

Today: Story Mode, 3 sets, 30 seconds rest. And Easy Cardio Day 6. 60 step jacks in one go.

Song of the day : Won´t spoil that one, this is definitely a surprise, if you did listen to the last few songs here

Weekend: 2 long walks both days. Forgot to write it down

Monday: Everything sucks. I´m bored, I´m lonely and it´s raining. Worst thing is that there are no video games I enjoy today. My life sucks, so I escape into video games but even playing seems like a chore today. So life sucks a lot more than usual. Don´t know what to do.

Better Than Nothing, 5 sets, 30 seconds rest. Easy Cardio Day 7

        Obligation fulfilled

You're doing great, Legolo. Good job powering through. That bad weather you mentioned actually sounds intriguing but glad you made it home safe.

On those days when motivation for anything is dead, try allowing yourself to just sit and exist in the moment. Look at the dead bugs in the window sill, think about how that should be cleaned up, and then resign yourself to the fact that it will probably never get done. If you have a window, just stare out of it at whatever's out there. Stare at something in your room. Just observe what's around you in the moment and allow your brain to process only that. It may help. And then the next day you can up and go again.

Great. I had an appointment at the dentist today. I hate going to the dentist. There are two things I have learned in my long life: Never trust a dentist. And never trust a guy with sideburns. Apparently my one tooth had a tiny hole, so my dentist decided to go the overkill way and REMOVE IT. It seems it was a wisdom tooth that had to be taken out eventually, but nontheless. I was not prepared for that, today was supposed to be a routine checkup. I will spare you the horrifying details of how and will only say that is was extremely unpleasant. Very extremly unpleasant. To make matters worse, I hadn´t eaten today and I won´t eat anything in the days to come, because I can´t chew or do anything else with my mouth. And those damned painkiller took two hours until they decided to work.

So, to recap: I´m starving, my face hurts like the dickens, I can´t do any excercise at all and to top this gigantic heap of terrible off, my cat´s dying.

            Gods, I hat this week

Oh no, that sucks enormously! Sorry about everything, and hugs to your cat

                  Thanks, you guys.

Today was the first day the pain was barely tolerable with painkillers. I went to the dentist yesterday and he pulled the threads, so yesterday was unspeakable pain again. I went for a walk, going my usual route. Took a little longer than usual because it was really slippery out there. And today was the first day in my life where I wished I´d own a scarf or bandana or something like that. Icy winds on my cheek do not feel good with a wound in my mouth. And I was able to eat something solid again, too Until today I have eaten nothing but joghurts and tea... It´ll be some time until I can do some real workouts again, but every bit of activity is good, right?

My cat is fine-ish. He had water in his lungs and couldn´t breathe so he´s getting some dehydrating pills. Now he does nothing but sleep and drink. He hasn´t eaten since thursday so I´m really worried. And the vet simply prescribed some pills for his heart. Over the phone! Didn´t even wanted to see him. I really hate this vet, he´s an incompetent ***hole who doesn´t give a shit about animals, but he´s the closest vet and my cat was all blue in the face and asphyxiating so I had no choice...

Song of the day: (yeah, I decided to continue, because it´s fun) : ZZ Top - La Grange

So sorry about your cat and the stupid vet Our cat is a senior too, and he's having serious trouble eating. Due to his bad kidneys, most meds are out of the question. We're trying to sneak some nutrients into his water with malt paste and cat milk, and he'll even eat a little bit of kitten food when we puree it with a lot of water.

My cat isn´t a senior, he´s ancient. 14 years old this year, he´s the last one from his family that´s still around. And he has had problems eating for some years now, problems with his teeth. Normally we´d have to get him to the dentist, but I don´t know if he´s strong enough for this yet. And he´d have to be put under for the procedure and a full narcosis in his age is always a risk. But thanks for those tips, I´ll try some of them

And now for something completely different.

I did my walk today. I have another walk planned, but a different route. My mom said the other route was 2 minutes shorter and I will test that later. After I ate my yoghurt. And watched my favourite episode from Doctor Who for the twentieth time.

Second walk done. My mothers math is wrong. The secound route is 40 meters shorter

Woooo! My town is famous! Even major newspapers like Die Süddeutsche have articles about us today! Our covid-19 numbers are exploding. 210 from 100000 inhabitants infected. Our district is known for it´s high number of retirement homes, 27 homes in total. And 8 of them had an covid outbreak. And our two hospitals are affected/infected too. What a great place to live, right?

I had to go back to work today, which was terrible. Luckily I stuffed a pack of painkillers in my pocket, otherwise I´d probably killed myself before breakfast. Talking a walk is one thing, but lugging concrete curb stones all day is definitely not something I can do right now. Not that my boss cared... Maybe I´ll take a walk later, when I´m not so exhausted. I can´t wait for this stupid tooth thing to be over. I want to eat solid food again. What I wouldn´t give for a nice burger or some gyros (the greek food, not rotating thingys) right now

This was supposed to be a humorous post about the recent heavy snowfalls around here. But we had to bring our cat to the vet earlier this evening to have him euthanized. So today I lost the only friend I ever had and I feel nothing but misery and pain. F*ck you, 2021. You´re even worse than last year.

I´d really need a hug right now... But I´m all alone with my terrible family. My father is a robot unable to feel emotions and my mom is crying non stop. That´s why I barricaded myself in my room.
