    Oh no - what a bad timing!

    In Germany, we have these pills which contain paracetamol, caffeine and vitamin C - I use them for emergencies like this (flu symptoms at a time when I really CANNOT have them). Possibly, ibuprofen + strong black tea / coffee (which I cannot drink when my nose is blocked) + lemon juice or extra ginger tea will do the same thing.

        Don't cancel lifts for the week, just take it day by day. No sense in surrendering the war when it's just one battle. Is my suggestion.

                            Lol aveoturbo, I have not used that pitch. I know it is slightly silly to be preserving "streak" while ill but rly, it is tied up in the attitudes I need to preserve to keep a healthy weight/not fkn end up diabetic etc. So I'm just doing easy things for the sake of continually telling myself that I am the sort of person who puts in the work to stay healthy.

                            Omg tho. I am also a fucking klutz. Old-boss txted me abt some shoes he wanted. 1 pair left his size (we can't get emp disc on orders). We only get 1% comission on emp sales but, 1k shoes, 5 mins to find, still worth it. Ofc they are way on top shelf. So I get the stupid shoe pole to get them down. Bang crash drop. Big noise but I'm fine. I look at them... they are not his style, do not look like pic online. Tell him to come look at shoes even tho he had given me his card. Go to put them back bc he doesn't like.... same faulty pole... try to catch them.... my pinkey finger is very unamused w me today. Did not want to put weight on it to do planks.

                            the shoe stock guy wants to help me instead of ignoring me bc "I'm not on the shoe team" now, tho, LOL

                              I get the streak thing. I think that if I stop, it turns from one day to three to 10...it forces me to get off my ass.

                              BTW, I am also a fucking klutz.

                                CODawn exactly. I have some half rational fear that 1 day off will turn into 2 moths on the couch and 200lbs again >.>
