Days 10 and 11 are done. I forgot to post yesterday when I did Day 10. Oh well. It's done. The cardio days are definitely getting harder. I can feel my heart thumping, so definitely got it going. I'm sure my Fitbit will concur when I check it.

Day 12 is done! Also, I'm proud to admit that since Monday, I have lost a pound and a half (145 pounds down to 143.6 pounds). I think the combination of doing this with tracking my food is really working. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some gym time soon since I've been too busy to do so lately...My husband and I are both involved politically and our state legislative session is currently ongoing. This means that there's an event that we need to go to almost every night and I am definitely not a morning gym person. That's one of the reasons I'm glad to be able to do this challenge while I'm here at work. Then at least I can say that I did something, even if I didn't make it to the gym.

So, I cheated a little bit on the challenge today. I did one of the 100 Office Workouts and about 4 sets of the 30-30 high knees-march steps. I figured combined that was good enough. That and my heartrate got up to 130 beats per minute, so I decided that was pretty good.

Finished Day 14 today. Also, lost another half pound! Down to 143 even now. I didn't exercise per se over the weekend, but I did do some yardwork...in basically 100F heat...so there's that. Nothing major, but just some clean-up that we needed to get done. The holiday weekend provided a good opportunity to do it.

I'm planning on starting the Back&Core program later today, as well.

Day 2 of Back & Core complete! The hollow hold was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. I might try to incorporate that daily. I could definitely feel it in my abs, even as I couldn't hold it still. I definitely rocked a little bit....

I'm back! I've completed Days 1 and 2 of the monthly challenge. I did one set of a workout yesterday, as well, although I can't remember what it was called...it's the first one in the 1000 Workouts book, which I bought for my Kindle. I'm trying to work on eating better, as well. Between yesterday and today, I lost about half a pound and about half an inch on my belly. That means I'm down to 143.8 pounds and about 39.5 inches on my belly.

I'm really more wanting to reduce my belly, rather than overall poundage, but I'm hoping that one will lead to the other. My ultimate poundage goal is 130 pounds. I don't think it's an impossible goal. My short-term goal is 140 pounds. When it comes to BMI, my FitBit says that I'm at 23.9. It says that's within the healthy range, but it's definitely near the top.

So, Saturday I didn't get a chance to work out at all since I literally spent all day cleaning/mowing for a party I hosted that night. I had a little over 15,000 steps that day and my heart rate was in "fat burn" for over 6 hours, so I figured that counts for Saturday. Yesterday, Sunday, I rested most of the day. I did Day 4 of the Calves of Steel and that was about it. Today will be Day 5 of Calves of Steel, and I will try to throw in another workout, but we'll see how I feel. I know I should, though.

I did complete Day 5 of Calves of Steel yesterday. I didn't do another full workout, but I did do 20 jumping jacks and a 30-second elbow plank. I just finished Day 6 of Calves of Steel, and I'll probably do the same with the jumping jacks and plank since I don't have much time after work today (I get off work at 4:30, 10 min drive home, then I have a meeting at 5:30, and trivia night at 8).

So, I just decided to add the Office challenge on a whim. I just did Day 1 of that.

And now, I'm adding on Hero's Journey. After I started it, I wondered if it was going to be too much, but the more I think about it, the 2 challenges that I'm doing are pretty light and consist of just one thing per day. Doing both of them with a program shouldn't be too taxing, I hope.
