      Dumbbell Workout: Power 10 +EC substituted dumbbell lat pull-downs for tricep dips, using 5lb dumbbells

      Neck & Shoulders Stretch

      Evening
      Took a little stroll downtown with my husband after dinner out at a restaurant, just under a mile, but we were both sweaty by the end and ready for the air conditioned car!

      Daily Victory: Date Night!

              4+ hour road trip to pick up youngest daughter and bring her home, bur my husband was able to go with me since he had the day off, and we had a nice lunch out to break up the drive.

                  DorothyMH, my husband, who is not from the PNW, really loves them! They became a 4th of July tradition for us after he moved up there to marry me. I am glad that they sell them in the grocery stores here. Of course, they are not as fresh. What i really miss are the plums that grow up there, the smaller purple/blue oval ones; i have never found those here. And the wild blackberries growing everywhere. They do sell blackberries in the stores here: nearly $3 for just 6 ounces, and they are tasteless!

                  Easy Workout #17: Jacks level III reps; Level I sets Everything was modified to be low impact; i couldn't figure out how to modify plank jumping jacks though, so i just substituted climbers.

                      You can modify plank jacks to plank step outs: one foot at a time out then back in. The bad part is, is that it means you’re in a plank longer!

                              Thank you, DorothyMH and Colin; i am making a deliberate effort to appreciate and love my body more, hence yesterday's gratitude. My body has treated me far better throughout my life than i have treated it .

                              Glad to see more people joining the When I am King (surely it can't be long now) Planks will be Illegal Party!
                              So, Colin, shall i assume that neither of us will be partaking in today's Daily Dare/Exercise of the Day?
