          Finally ... working-year is over, now I have a few days off.


          I felt a bit tired and feeble today. Still a bit, but better then a few hours before. We made some last groceries today, everything went quite well in the end, all tasks are done.


          IronBorn was Leg-Day, I liked it, added some other stuff as well to make it more smooth for me. After that the shower helped me a bit to get some energy back. that´s a win

          Meditation was ... ok. I did my time, but my mind wandered a lot, always jumping from one event to another one, I felt a bit like a quite observer if you get my drift, interesting. Nonetheless I always had to "pull my mind back again" and start concentrating on my breathing. It worked ... for the most part, though. I also had a bit of a problem with my posture during the sitting. I therefore lay down for the last 5-6 minutes, which was quite good.

          I am really looking forward to my weekend and a few days off, starting now with a nice cup of tea and have an early night.

            I woke up with a minor lower-back pain ...

            In the past I had a lumbago, hopefully it gets better in the upcoming days, something I don´t want to experience again.

            I did my stretching and yoga stuff - IronBorn was "ground-work" - so it worked out quite nicely in the end and helped. Shower also helped a lot to ease pain.

            I think the next day will be better, one step at a time, that is how we roll, I can´t change it, so no need to mope if you get my drift. Off we go.

            Will need and implement some lower-back exercisese as well in the upcoming days. Probably some bridges, etc. Will also take a closer look at the workout-database and need to look after my posture. If somebody has good experiences with lower-back exercises or already done and has good experiences with some workouts, you can leave a comment or link them.

            The workout helped and I felt a bit better and a bit refreshed afterwards. Perhaps I just got up on the wrong side. Yes, probably - c´est la vie.

            What to do afterwards? Right, I went into the kitchen, because working there always makes a lot of fun:

                  Beautiful food as ever, Librarian (do you know we eat seaweed in Wales? It's a particular species that is quite heavily processed into a thing called laver bread. You can buy it in cans or from markets and generally it's coated in oats or oatmeal and fried. We have it from time to time - the tinned version is nice spread on toast with scrambled eggs. It's quite salty and a particular flavour, not all that similar to Japanese or Chinese-style seaweeds.)

                  There, I have digressed and made your thread ALL ABOUT ME again!

                  I hope your back recovers! I know you've looked at Ekhart Yoga, and though I haven't done them myself, I have seen that they have some quite long Yin Yoga classes around back recovery I think.

                      wjs Thanks for your recommendation, it was a really nice addition for todays workout session.

                      colinclean oh my god, haven´t heard about "the welshman´s caviar" before - definitely something to take a closer look at, because as Amirsh I totally love seaweed. I already found an online shop where to get it, something for the new year. And thanks for your recommendation as well, I found a nice and rather short video in the youtube-channel. Will keep the longer version for another day.

                      My lower Back felt really better today. Yesterdays stretching and workout were good it seems - I also slept with a warming-pad tonight which also improved things I think. Well, at least this morning felt good, almost as nothing had happend. I am really happy about the development. Nonetheless I will implement some lower back exercises in the upcoming days and from now on, nothing to neglect easily.

                      In addition to IronBorn, I did the posture and lower back recommendation and I choose a lower-back-yoga video. One step at a time.

                      Today we went to lunch with one part of the family, I think the chirstmas-marathon has officially started.

                      Meditation and shower-session was also a nice relaxation today. I think the day was a win so far.

                      Now: nothing special planned, only some more episodes of the Doctor left, guitar is tuned and ready and a book awaits me later on, here we go
