    Nid's Training Log

    Starting Stats:
    - 5'5" and ~145 lbs
    - 37 years old
    - Mother of one toddler (via c-section)

Have done the following at some point in time:
Boxing (trained but no sparring), yoga, running (slow 5K, slower 10K, very slow Half), free weights, gym-goer, spinning, equestrian, hiker, and paddler. Played rugby in high school. I've done stuff.

Was somewhat fit but not so much now except for running after a toddler. Looking to regain some level of cardio and strength/tone as well as hopefully lose a bit of junk from the trunk. Too much "desking" is wrecking me, found this place and now have started the Foundation program to ease back into it.

    09/25/16:
    -Foundation Day 1 - LIII
    -DD and EC
    -Good Morning Abs workout -LI
    Music: LCD Soundsystem
Comments: Was "good tired" at end of Foundation, DD/EC was easy-peasy thanks to yoga muscle memory, Abs just about killed me though it was the hip flexors that gave out first. Too much sitting.

    09/26/16:
    Conscripted Husband as Workout Buddy
    -Foundation Day 2 - LIII
    -DD: 3x 1 min sets
    Music: LCD Soundsystem (again)
Comments: F-D2 was good, Husband said lunges were awful on his "bad" side. I was surprised I could lift my legs after breaking my hips yesterday. DD left legs like jelly, downstairs neighbour is happy I only did 3x 1 min.

    09/27/16:
    -DD and EC
    -Ironclad Abs - LI
    -Foundation Day 4 - LIII
    Music: Arctic Monkeys
Comments: Bridges = butt pain (literally). Husband was Workout Buddy again.

      09/28/16:
      -DD: 4 x 10
      -Foundation Day 5 - LIII
      Music: Moby
Comments: Not sure I was doing side planks properly but hopefully I wasn't too far off. Twist Jacks just feel weird.

Thanks! Trying to make it a habit so it gets harder not to do it.

          09/29/16:
          -Foundation Day 6 - LIII
          -DD&EC
-WOD (Boxer): one rep then realized arms are broken so decided to call it
Music: None, TV set to reality trash channel (Love you Bravo, never change)
Comments: Funny how the muscle memory takes over. Haven't shadow boxed in a VERY long time and all of a sudden I'm throwing punches like Mike Tyson. Going to regret that tomorrow when I can't lift my coffee. Also going to regret getting that Extra Credit. Tomorrow is going to hurt.

            -DD&EC
Music: None, watched Kung Fu Panda 2 with the Minion
Comments: Modified DD to be on knees and it was still really hard. Minion had fun attempting to do sit-ups.
Last edited by Nidandelsa; October 4, 2016, 01:22 PM. Reason: Got dates mixed up, did D6 on Th, Fr was CHAOS. Log all up to date now. Was very confusing until got that straightened out!

                -Foundation Day 9 - LIII
-100 Kick Crunches for the WQ
                Music: Arctic Monkeys
Comments: Hips started popping by the end of the 100WQ, had to make sure form was spot on to keep them in line. Right Hip Abductor sore during Foundation, not left though. Bit of an imbalance, I guess.

                  -Foundation Day 10 - LIII
                  -DD&EC
                  -10 WQ Kick Crunches
                  Music: Bravo garbage TV
Comments: Hip started popping during the kick crunches so I took that as a sign to take it easy. Dips were surprising in that I could do them but they got pretty hard by the end. Had to concentrate on my form.

                        Music: Toddler stomping and strumming
Comments: DD was...interesting. Not quite there yet. Lots of punches and kicks tonight, had to dodge a little crazy person. Pushups were fun, had someone sit on me for a set. Minion gave them his best shot, he looked like he was having a blast.

deHavilland Thanks Little person pretty much broke us this week with his two year sleep regression. Here's hoping we're on the home stretch so we get back into our routine.
