Well, well, time flies...
Saturday was Fighter's Codex, Day 12 plus my 50th DD with EC. I like all that stretching although the 2 minutes side splits mady my legs shake quite violently...
I met up with friends for brunch on Sunday, but I woke up early enough to put in Fighter's Codex, Day 13 plus DD.
Unfortunately, it seems that I ate something that wasn't perfectly alright at the brunch (in addition to eating way too much
) and I spent yesterday at home with some annoying stomach cramps and a blood pressure that was too low to keep me upright... :-/
Today, I'm back in the office and had a try at Fighter's Codex, Day 14 in the morning.
I'm definitely thinking about switching programs now, in the middle of Fighter's Codex. I like it, yes, but:
- There are days, like the Tribute workouts and the power days, where I just do not have enough time! Today, 1 set took me around 8 minutes - Level 1 is supposed to consist of 5 sets. That's impossible for me in the morning...
- It's too hard for my current Level of fitness, especially the power days. I had a look at what to expect tomorrow and there's no chance that I can do 20 push-ups per set... plus the push-up combinations.
I get a bit discouraged and demotivated by the program at the moment. Yes, I want to do it, I want to finish it - but I just can't. And no, I don't feel good with shortening everything. :-/
I'll think about it for the rest of the day, we'll see what I'm coming up with (luckily, there are still some programs left that I want to do).
