    Well, well, time flies...

Saturday was Fighter's Codex, Day 12 plus my 50th DD with EC. I like all that stretching although the 2 minutes side splits mady my legs shake quite violently...

I met up with friends for brunch on Sunday, but I woke up early enough to put in Fighter's Codex, Day 13 plus DD.
Unfortunately, it seems that I ate something that wasn't perfectly alright at the brunch (in addition to eating way too much ) and I spent yesterday at home with some annoying stomach cramps and a blood pressure that was too low to keep me upright... :-/

Today, I'm back in the office and had a try at Fighter's Codex, Day 14 in the morning.

I'm definitely thinking about switching programs now, in the middle of Fighter's Codex. I like it, yes, but:
    - There are days, like the Tribute workouts and the power days, where I just do not have enough time! Today, 1 set took me around 8 minutes - Level 1 is supposed to consist of 5 sets. That's impossible for me in the morning...
    - It's too hard for my current Level of fitness, especially the power days. I had a look at what to expect tomorrow and there's no chance that I can do 20 push-ups per set... plus the push-up combinations.
I get a bit discouraged and demotivated by the program at the moment. Yes, I want to do it, I want to finish it - but I just can't. And no, I don't feel good with shortening everything. :-/

I'll think about it for the rest of the day, we'll see what I'm coming up with (luckily, there are still some programs left that I want to do).

Well done on a landmark, Knirin!

I'm sure you'll find a programme to fit your schedule and needs. Or perhaps you might surprise yourself with what you are able to manage? I know I have found that at Darebee!

Have a great day, I'm sure you'll find some good advice here when you come back.

Nice work getting 50 DDs with EC Fighter's Codex is such a mixed program in lengths of workouts and difficulty. If it helps, I think the middle of the program is the hardest and it gets a little easier after day 15. If you think another program would be better for you then that's good to listen to what you need. What other ones were you thinking of?

Thank you all once more for the support.

I decided to stay with Fighter's Codex, but to switch days around a bit to accomodate the longer days. Therefore, today, it has been time for Day 16. I like that balance stuff! It's just fun - and funnily, my balance is a lot more stable when I'm doing the kick slowly in contrast to trying to do it as quickly as possible.

The next days will be tough, first I'm on a tradefair in another corner of Germany - I hope I'll have enough space in the hotel room for my workout. And directly afterwards, I'll be at my parents' place as a good friend has her wedding nearby. So, I'll probably get a workout in on Thursday and Friday, but I'm not so sure about Saturday and Sunday... we'll see.
In addition, new bad news arrived from my in-laws, that doesn't make my mood any bettter...

Hi there! Don't worry, I'm still alive, sleep_twitch, BuurmanSven .

But I split up... well, with my program. I just couldn't stand Fighter's Codex anymore, so it got sidelined, at least for the next months. The last day I did was Day 17 last week on Friday in a hotel room with very little space for kicks and such. I didn't do anything while I was at my parents' place and even the day after. But I pulled myself up on Tuesday and started something new:

                                Ironborn!!

I have to admit, I'm in love. Just did Day 6 and it's really a lot of fun, works the muscles and challenges me (push-ups on Day 5...). I'm currently doing things with 4 kg dumbbells - the other choice would be 6 kg, but there are definitely some exercises (lateral raises, I look at you) that I just couldn't do with heavier weights. We'll see if I dare to upgrade at some point.

And now, it's time to get on the road and visit my parents for Easter.

Happy Easter, have a wonderful day!
