    Did not do Walk to Run today. Just didn't feel up to it. Since I didn't want to lose my streak I still grabbed HJ.

    So. Day 20/30

    Hero's Journey Day 3 with the Magic Ring and Ribbon.

      Really bad news as far as going back home. Probably isn't going to happen and it might mean that I miss my best friend's wedding. Which I am supposed to be part of.

      So I took out my stress in running.

      Day 21/30

      Walk to Run Day 23 (1 min walk 3 min run 3 sets)

      Hero's Journey Day 4

        I'm really sorry about that, ArishaNomad. I'm sure all of this has been very tough on you and I can only keep my fingers crossed that you and your family do eventually make your way back to your snowy homeland. As for your friend's wedding - if you can't make a trip back home, maybe you could explore some other options, like using Skype or some other service to be "present" there? I know it's not even remotely the same thing, but it might make you less homesick and your BF would miss you less?

        I'm glad you're sticking to your workouts and using them as stress relief. I will keep you in my thoughts and if I win the lottery, you get a ticket to Alaska for sure.

              Day 22/30
              Walk to run was a 15 minute walk and that's all I did yesterday. Didn't have time for HJ. Right now though it's 71F (Roughly 21-22 C) so I can do my workout outside (My heat tolerance has increased; a good thing to say about Virginia). And my dog's has increased just enough that she can come with me. As I have a lot of meetings today I'd best get a move on the workout or they won't get done today.

                Day 23-25/30. Helping my mum get ready to move has been my exercise as it has included sorting boxes and moving things around in my flat. Today will be a walk as I managed to hurt myself reaching for a playstation controller.... So I've decided that it's the 30 day curse. This is the third time I've gotten close to 30 days in a row of exercising and had to quit. I won't let it best me this time though! I will get a Very Slow 15 or so minute walk in and that will count. As I'll have gone three-ish days without doing HJ or Walk to Run I should be good to pick up where I left off tomorrow if I can do it then; if not I'll back things up by a few days like I did after my cold. ^_^ Hope everyone is having a great day!

                      I am recovered completely from helping my mum move and from the strain. I helped haul furniture and stuff the past several days and walked at least 15 minutes when I didn't so if my math doesn't fail me that makes today 30/30!!!!

                      And to 'celebrate'/'complete' it I did Day one of Hero's Journey on Lvl 2 again. I should have broken it up more but I survived and Day 22 of Walk to Run.

                          Walk to Run Day 23 plus a 23 minute walk earlier.... Tried doing day 2 of Hero's Journey option A and my feet started hurting really badly so I'm going to try again in the morning; see if that helps. I'm thinking I had too much salt today and that they swelled during the run. Ah well; live and learn. I'll probably do option B too because I'll be up to punches tomorrow.

                            Walk to Run Day 24- 15 ish minute walk. (More like 20). My feet are still a bit off and I'm not sleeping well so I'm cutting down to straight up only doing Walk to Run until I feel better then I'll pick up Hero's Journey again. Is probably just prelude to shark week. If I'm feeling bleh about fitness I'll do some of the weight machines in the gym for my upper body. Maybe tofu curry will perk me up. I can try....
