    Fruit monotony?

    Hello people.
So, cutting to the chase, now that fall has arrived, I love eating fresh apples! Might be my favourite fruit. So juicy, tasty, and lasts fresh for a long time!
Because of this, I take apples to work, and then when I get back home, I'll have some more!!!
Is that bad? I mean, I hope I won't lose any essential vitamins, considering the fact that I I eat lots of veggies and other nutritious meals throughout the day... When more seasonal fruits that I like start being available, I will opt for variety..!

I don’t think it’s bad especially if they are in season. I just ate 2 honeycrisp apples after a huge salad and will likely eat two more later!

In general you are fine. They hold 80 ish calories each (depending on size), have some fiber, and are really good. Personally I eat 1 most everyday. The only caveat I would give is that if you eat the whole apple (seeds and all) eating 4-5 a day for a month would definitely introduce some arsenic to your diet. I don't think it would be enough to really hurt you but something to think about.

Eating seasonal produce is a wonderful way to help your body get in tune with the natural progression of the seasons. I don't think there's anything wrong with just eating apples; however, I would challenge you to try a seasonal fruit at least once per week that you have never eaten before. How about an Asian pear? Jicama? Persimmon? Fresh figs? Variety keeps me from getting in a rut. Hope that helps.

When I was working construction I have 6 different fruits or more a day, generally nowadays I have a banana, pear and orange others occasionally sometimes some frozen fruit defrosted at room temp with yogurt.
