    Jamaican egg rolls

    A take on Jamaican patty's.

I cook some ground beef, in a large fry pan simmer meat in plenty of water with added Jamaican curry powder, about a heaping tablespoon, cook down to almost no liquid then I thicken with some Bisto's gravy granuals. let cool then add to egg roll wrap, roll up and deep fry. Or in a deep fry pan use plenty of fat and roll them to brown them crispy.

The gravy part should be thick and not too much. I buy Cool Runnings Jamaican curry in a big plastic jug, it's not very hot/spicy has great flavour. It's best to add it to a gravy base not just water. Bisto's granuals is very handy and tastes great, scoop what you need and add boiling water, it's instant.
