    Compliment programs with other exercises?

    Hi, I'm new to Darebee and loving it so far! One question though, I've decided to do the Assassin workout program. I've given myself 3 workouts that amount up to 30 mins for day 1, 3, 4 and 6. Should I be complimenting this program with some other cardio or strength training exercises like 3-4 times a week on top of this program or is this enough to achieve some toning? Many thanks!

    Welcome to the Hive Stadiki . Hmm, pretty hard to say from a distance. Do you feel underwhelmed? How long have you been doing the Assassin training plan so far? Which workouts did you use? How many sets per workout are you doing? If you do 3 workouts with 7 sets per workout in 30 minutes you are either very fast doing or not doing 7 sets.
    All the HIIT and combat moves are more streamline than strength and tone. Maybe you should go for the Gladiator if you want to build some visible muscle. If you are just starting, go for a sustainable routine and try not to overdo things. If you are consistent, change will come in a couple of weeks.

      Hi Andi64, thanks for your reply. I've been trying different HiiT routines this last week but decided on the Assassins program for toning. I'm coming back from a pelvis injury so I'm not as fit as I was a year ago, I'm finally allowed to do more but not allowed to run yet🤣🤦🏻‍♀️I tried cycling to get my heart rate up but I hate it😆So I'm only doing level 1 to see how I get on, for HiiT I picked: Lightning Strike, Catching Fire and Fast Lane which adds up to about 27 minutes. I suppose I could just do 2 but increase to Level2. Combat I picked Counter, Ninja Princess and Global Warrior, again just level 1 for this week. I intend on varying the workouts each week. I guess if I really push myself all out I shouldn't need to do anything else?
