    Question about stretches

    Hello all,
    I am new here and love the site. I am doing the 90 days of action routine and on my workout it is a serious of stretching exercises and it says three sets of 8 reps for butterfly’s for example. Does this just mean count to 8?

    Hi Lpb and Welcome to the Hive. If you look at the pictures, you see that the angle of the legs is different: One up, one down, that's a rep. The name of the excercise is '...stretch' that indicates you stretch something actively, otherwise I would say its's a 'hold'. Those you count in seconds or '10-count, '20-count' etc.
    Btw.:It's always polite to provide a link, so people helping you, don't have to go hunting down the excercise in question themselves
