Is it ok to work out before bed?

So I have always worked out in the afternoon or before bed because I like to get a "decent" rest at night without having to wake up too early. However, is this actually worse for me? I never really felt like I've had too much trouble going to bed. If I am doing rigorous workouts I tend to work out in the afternoon, but if it is more routine I work out later. I never seemed to have a problem, but maybe it's because I just tire myself out. Most people usually work out in the morning, but I am more of a night owl and I get a second wind at night.

    Any feedback?

    Hi Bender B. Rodriguez

Some people have trouble to get to sleep when they workout at night. As it's not your case, I think it's just fine.
Personnaly I workout in the morning if I can because I feel more energetic, but if I have no choice, I do it at night and it's ok for me.

If it works for you it’s no problem at all.

I work out in the evening, sometimes after dinner if I haven’t had the time earlier. For the year that I was attending a 7am hiit class I felt like it took all day to have enough energy to function normally again. I like evening workouts better.

Used to work out from 21:00 - 23:00, and the only way I could sleep after that was a proper cool down, shower & a good stretching routine. Slept better than usual!

A late evening workout actually makes me sleep better personally.
