Power up day 12, split lunges

Hi, how do you do the split lunges on day 12 of power up? Do you keep the positions of your feet fixed while going up and down? (So no forward or backward motion)

kandy unless I'm missing something (probably!) the split lunge is just a normal lunge...

Damer TheRaven Redline neilarey Ryuji can one (or more) help here?

I forgot to put in my original reply that the move as kandy describes (keeping your feet in the same place on the ground) sounds like a split squat. Also a good exercise

            Martyn Damer Thanks!
One more question: should I do the lunge quickly or just normal pace?

kandy, Martyn my mistake on a crazy day. I thought Martyn had already mentioned not moving the feet. A split lunge is basically a lunge where you place your feet in a static position, keep your body upright and then move your body up and down. It maintains constant pressure on the quads (as they don't have time to relax) and also challenges core stability and glute strength. I apologize for the confusion I caused on this.
